SanDisk 64GB Cruzer Fit USB 2.0 Flash Drive - SDCZ33-064G-G35

The radio I bought here on Amazon did not come as advertised. It was supposed to have an SD slot as well as the USB slot. It only had the USB. The last thing I wanted to do was have a 3 USB thumb drive dangling out of the radio just waiting to be snapped off while drinking a coffee or shifting gears. Thats when I discovered they made these great little nubs. I took a chance that theyd work on my radio and at this price I was glad I did. I havent even used the second one I purchased yet because at 32GB its more than Ill ever need in the car and I just havent found another use for the other one yet. Beware though, because its greatest asset is also its biggest potential problem. These things are SMALL. Absolutely perfect for putting in a car radio. Id imagine if you plugged one into a laptop it would be great there too for some extra outside storage if you didnt need to remove it much. Dont lose it. I wouldnt recommend this style for something youd take on the go with you all the time, but if you have a need for a dedicated, low-profile solution, this is what youre looking for. And its SanDisk. Nuff said.

It has excellent space, durable and reliable.

How small is this !!! I put 7000 of my songs on it to play them in my Tesla and it still has room for thousands more. I cant say enough. Its just amazing !

Use it for switching files daily and it works great right now. Definitely great for laptops, but a bit awkward to remove from a desktop USB if you have adjacent USB ports being used. I have to unplug the adjacent ones on the desktop to get a firm grip and remove it. Not a issue, just a bit awkward.

Replaced a 2” long flash drive with this. Given the location of the USB port and the size of the drive, this works much better in the car and blends in the with cars interior. If using in a vehicle where the USB port is visible and want to leave the flash drive plugged in, this works great. Not the fastest transfer speed.

Reliable drive. I dont mind that its USB2, its part of what makes it reliable, it stays cool. I wish they made it in 128GB or 256GB. Because it stays cool, its not that much slower than a USB 3 drive that gets hot and throttles. Larger capacity and these would be plug and Stay for laptop expansion. As it is you can fit a lot of music or a fair amount of movies on these, things that dont need to be taking up your faster storage.

I bought this USB flash drive to do one thing: hang out as unobtrusively as possible for Unraid. For those that do not use Unraid, it requires you install the OS on a USB flash drive to allow for mobility by swapping to any system you want. Its great. Works great. And this drive is perfect for it. Unlike 99% of USB flash drives, this one is practically invisible. In fact, the best comparison is to imagine, if you have one, those Logitech Unified adapters that you use to hook up a wireless keyboard (like a K400) or a wireless mouse (G900/903). Or a cheapo bluetooth adapter. Its like that except its 64GB of storage. Unraid doesnt really require lots of storage, but what it does give it room for is time for old age. Since Unraid is bound to the USB flash drives mechanical ID, its great to give it lots of room to provision space as the drive ages. And its reasonably USB2-ish in speed. Didnt go with USB3 because if you read about people using USB3 sticks for Unraid (or Raspberry Pi for that matter) you find that USB3 has more of a tendency to fail because the drives tend to get hot and the controllers for them tend to get overly saturated. So thats what this represents. A fine enough drive in an incredible form factor. The only complain I have is how the overall body shape is so round that its a little harder to remove than it should be even given its size. I kinda wish it was more boxy/angular.

A good solution for USB music in a vehicle to keep the dongle out of the way.

It made storage beautiful. I transfered all my music to it and plugged to my android radio in the car and it played perfectly without exposing itself.
