    Greater than one week

device itself is fine. I didnt like the encryption software that came with it when the program is open the files in the encrypted area dont show up as a separate drive. However, it was easy to substitute LaCie Public-Private that is free and works well. I like the way this drive hangs on my key chain. It is small and unobtrusive. It fits well with the keys. It is durable. I cant comment on speed since I just use it to carry a few small files.

The item is lot smaller (physically) than I had expected, but it is perfect for school. I am an allied health student and do a lot of projects that require a lot of jpeg images. Therefore, I need a lot of storage space to house these photos. I had to attach a keychain to the USB drive for fear of losing it. But I love that its so small! So far, I have over 1,000 high quality JPEG images and have only used 2.5 GB.

great if you hook it to a key chain and wear it. Would recommend using usb as a back up for presentation in the case that google drive or an online cloud storage is not accessible. Would NOT recommend storing important files in ANY drive because although the possibility of losing it are slim, it is nonetheless a possibility. I have personally lost a usb in college before I knew of google drive and it was devastating.

32 Gigabytes? Might seem skimpy by todays standards, but to me, not at all! I wont bore you with all my I remember when... stories. Ill just say that this thing is worth it! Cool looking, works great, simple to use. Very happy with it.

I bought this to replace a Sandisk Cruzer that I had used for years and finally ran into problems with (nonsense error message when trying to eject). Unfortunately the device barely fits the USB ports on my HP desktop. Inserting it requires a very hard push (is that why its called Force?) which is hard to do given its size, removing it is worse as its case is slick and hard to grip so you end up wiggling it back and forth. Neither the insertion nor the removal is probably good for the port. On top of this, the device turns out to be encrypted/ password protected, which I neither need nor want. Im sure I could find a way to reformat it and remove the security features but given I only paid a little over $5 and given the size issue its not worth the aggravation and Ill probably just trash it. And next time read the reviews even for a $5 item ......

This drive stands out from many other flash drives because it is simple, durable and it looks great. I have finally found a thumb drive that doesnt feel like it’s made of cheap plastic! This is important because I primarily use this drive as carry-around storage, so it needs to be tough as nails. A little shorter than an average house key, it fits perfectly on my key ring without getting in the way. The sturdy aluminum housing has not only held up well to the abuse it suffers while in close proximity to my keys, but it also looks great. Whenever I take it out, people like to give it a closer look because it has great lines -- very modern and futuristic. From a utility perspective, it is top notch. Because it I always have it with me, it is loaded with files and apps that come in handy in a pinch. Here are some of the things I keep on the drive: -- I have a folder with some awesome pictures of my family. This is great when visiting relatives - I can give them school pictures and family pictures for them to print. -- I keep a kid’s movie (the Lego Movie right now) on the drive at all times, 5-10 episodes of their favorite shows (Paw Patrol) and a huge folder full of music. This alone has saved my life on a number of occasions with many televisions and most cars coming with USB ports as standard connections. -- I also keep an encrypted file containing some of my passwords (managed by 1Password). While the very security conscious out there might not recommend this, I feel the risk of the drive falling into the hands of a person motivated and educated enough to decrypt this file are slim. -- There is still plenty of space for incidental file storage left on the drive – 16GB is more than enough. The physical connections to the USB port seem very solid which is often an issue with tiny drives like this. If anything, it tends to be a bit tight with some ports. While I have not personally had the types of issues that some other reviewers seem to have with this drive not fitting into USB ports, I can see how that may be a problem. I would recommend your checking the fit on your laptop or other hardware before starting to use the drive. From a speed perspective, it is about average for a USB 2.0 drive at 24 MB/s (r) and 4 MB/s (w). I have rarely been inconvenienced by the speed, but for those who want to edit right off the device or use it as a network-storage disk, you may want to consider a faster drive. Overall, this drive has been an indispensable component of my EDC (every day carry) and is a solid piece of hardware for a variety of uses.

I use the Cruzer Force for music in my car. It works, theres not much else to say than that. The transfer speed for music is good, I never tried reading/writing files with large bit-rates like HD video. An interesting thing to note is that it fits perfectly in the Subaru BRZ. The USB dust cover/plug in the car has a little peg that fits perfectly into the hole of the Cruzer Force when opened. Also, this USB drive is much much smaller in person. The picture makes it seem big, but really its about the size of a fingerprint.

I bought this flash drive because it was a little over five dollars. It works as well as other flash drives Ive used but it is smaller than other flash drives which is the only complaint I have about it.

For anyone wondering if they should purchase this or not, i would highly recommend it. Its very compact so i would keep it attached to some kind of string or key chain. Its one of the cheapest (if not the cheapest) flash drive on the market thats 16GB. Not only am i happy with the product i was also very surprised of how quick it arrived, since it was only supposed arrive 5 days from now, but it came today (1/29/2016). Ive included some pictures to show how small the product really is.
