I bought this for a buddy. His flash drive fell off his key chain, and this one is sturdy. Definitely makes carrying digital essentials on your key chain easier, and the solid metal body means you have to lose your whole key chain to lose this little guy.

Although I was satisfied with the performance of this drive, the two metal halves of the protective casing on the back part of the drive were not flush against each other or were misaligned. SanDisk Customer Service, however, was awesome and agreed to switch the physically defective item out for another model with equal storage free of charge; mailing back the bad drive was prepaid courtesy of Sandisk, thankfully. The Cruzer Force, as I understand, is one of the older SanDisk USB 2.0 flash drive models, and this was only the second time in over ten years that I had purchased it. The Cruzer Force on the surface looks great judging by the manufacturer’s photos (i.e. photos that show only the front, top, and sides of the drive), but in spite of my best efforts, I can’t find any pictures of the back part of it anywhere, even on the main SanDisk website. I wonder if the company is trying to conceal either what seems to be a lack of attention to detail in the assembly process or a potential slip in the design of this item.

This flash drive does exactly what it should and served my purpose well. Because it is so tiny, I had to attach it to a key chain with another flash so I would not lose it! A real bargain for this 64 GB and well worth it.

Like other reviewers, I found the fit of this flash drive to be very tight in both computers that Ive used it on. Given the Cruzers very small size, youll need a bit of room to get enough of a grip to pull it out of its socket (with some gentle rocking). Speed-wise, Im getting around 18 MB/s which is pretty good (on my new HP Pavilion laptop). Overall, I like the drive although the fit issue is irksome. I definitely like the metal packaging. Given the very low price I paid for it, Id say its a good buy although you should shop USB-3 products before you make a final decision.

This USB flash drive is the perfect size (smaller than what I expected but I’m glad it was), which is smaller than a quarter. The program to setup and use the password protection on this is a little confusing for someone like me who insists on only reading directions if all else fails but I did figure it out after about ten minutes of playing around with it. Seems well put together but I wish it would have came with a lanyard which I bought separately for it.

Small, light weight, durable, nice little USB drive. The lack of an activity light is the only draw back I noticed.

Its a good usb but only reason I got it was for the file protection part. The vault does not work. I set up my password saved my file came back to it later and it wasnt there had me redo my password multiple times. Protection software does not work other that that its a good size I have it on my key chain.

I wish I could give negative stars for these flash drives. I have been using flash drives since flash drives were invented, and have had zero trouble with Patriot drives over the years. But these SanDisk drives had excellent ratings, and they were sold by Amazon and not a reseller; so I took a chance on them. I had seen a few reviews that mentioned difficulties with these drives, but there were so many positive reviews, I thought I would have a better experience. I was so wrong! The drives were difficult to get into the USB ports, and then I got an error message that the drives needed more power than the USB ports could provide. Now, none of the USB ports on the front of my computer will accept any flash drive or external hard drive, despite extensive troubleshooting. Fortunately, I still have four unused and working USB ports on the back of my computer. Theyre not as convenient, but they work fine with my other backup devices. And now I know: always read - and believe! - the one-star reviews.

I bought this flash drive because it was a little over five dollars. It works as well as other flash drives Ive used but it is smaller than other flash drives which is the only complaint I have about it.
