I have been buying San Disk USB memory in the past years without problem. This time, I wanted smaller capacity memory. 5 USB memory with 32GM were perfect. However, after the product arrived, I began to have the bad experience. One of them automatically turned its own write protection on. I talked with Amazon customer service and got refund for this one USB memory. One month later, 2nd USB memory rejected to write the data because of write protection. Then, 3rd USB memory showed only 9GM capacity available even though I copied the files with 7GB capacity. When I deleted the files in order to increase the capacity, the memory capacity was not changed at all. 3 out of 5 USB memory were useless. I gave up on those 32GB USB memory and ordered a larger one, 128GB, made by SanDisk. This 128GB does not show any write protection behavior at all.

Used the flash drives for backup on some old computers

These work fine at first, but it wasnt six weeks before one just completely stopped working. Just another piece of garbage, cynically made to rip people off.

I believe these to be counterfeit. I ordered 2 packs of 5, for 10 thumb drives total. Out of all of them, only three report as being 32 GB. The remainder are only 8 GB.

Are you looking for cheap flash drives that hold the amount of data that is advertised by the manufacturer? Look no more, as these beauties do exactly that! I cant speak for their reliability as I just got them and filled them yesterday.
