Ich hatte mich entschlossen endlich eine SSD zu kaufen und habe es nicht bereut. Der Einbau war auch nicht schwer. Eine zusätzlicher Einbauschub ist aber erforderlich aufgrund der Abmaße.

Needed an immediate fix for failing drive. I imaged the old drive to the SSD. Plugged it in, and here we are! If you are using a magnetic drive this SSD will give you religion. Boots fast, programs are popping right up. Kinda miss the constant chatter from old drive... Thanks to everyone involved. The disk was on my doorstep when I woke up.

Brought my slow Windows laptops to life. Cloned the primary hard drive using a separate SATA to SATA HD cloner rather than using software and the PC USB port and software -- took about 4 hours for nearly a TB. Installed and booted up. W8 and W10 both found drivers automatically and everything was up an running with Power up and ready to run in <15s (compared to 2 min with 5400 RPM internal HDs and 7200 RPM HDs in my desktops. Went to Windows Admin tools>Disk Manager and adjusted to recover unused space (went from 750GB and 500GB HD to 1TB in each system). Havent done this with Mac as Im not familiar with how mac handles adjusting the partition sizes after cloning a smaller HD to a larger HD.

Absolutely great product, this is second one Ive installed. I used a 500 gb SSD to replace a 1 Tb hard drive that was very empty. They provide free software to clone your hard drive, which works seamlessly. You will need an external usb connector to the SSD. Watch a video on how to open up your specific laptop and be extremely careful in dealing with the internals. This job takes some skill, but it is so worth it. The support on their website is so good. I never needed to contact tech support. Love my SSD and my blazing fast computer!
