I bought this to upgrade the HDD on my old alienware laptop and it was like breathing new life into it, performance-wise I saw a big improvement: Windows 10 loads in a matter of seconds, battery life is a little bit better and theres the added benefit of not hearing the needle of the mechanical disk ticking.

I purchased this as an external drive using a USB 3.0 to 2.5” SATA III Hard Drive Adapter Cable . Its working great.

Love the speed improvements and it was not difficult to clone my existing drive and install. However I can’t properly rate the durability and battery life so early after the install.
