This thing really grinds new or old concrete really fast. The taper in the disk near the arbor didnt quite fit my makita XAG16 angle grinder, but it works anyway, and is well centered and and balanced well enough.

I used these grinders to remove paint from a huge concrete surface. More than 50 yrs. and 4-5 layers of paint and mildew. Saved myself a lot of money. The picture posted is one small section completed. With patience the end result is phenomenal.

Do not buy, bought these bc I had purchased from another seller on Amazon that had great ones. These ones are horrible. Lasted about 10 minutes, if that. Do not buy. Amazon is awesome though they gave my money back!

They are extremely less costly and they really smooth the concrete.

I started grinding masonry paint off the exterior of my house foundation with a $45 brand name grinding wheel. I ground the teeth off the wheel in about 24 square feet. These wheels cost under $5 each and last for about 15 square feet. Thats $2 per sq. ft. vs. 33 cents per sq. ft., so I save a lot by having to swap these grinding wheels a little more frequently. I have noticed these wheels last longer if you dont grind constantly. They seem to wear faster when you get them really hot.
