> 3 dayThis product (model VLT6-B1) is very strong, and installation instructions are detailed, very clear, and well redacted. The mounting template is an exact match of the backing piece (the base that attaches to the wall) and is made of cardboard, which makes it very convenient for installation since it can be pasted onto the wall (with masking tape or painters tape) for proper positioning, leveling and alignment, and can be left in there while youre finding studs and drilling. Once drilling is complete, the template can be removed and youre left with all the perforations in place, ready to receive the actual backing piece. The assortment of hardware (screws, spacers, washers) is plentiful and allows for many specific configurations depending on the TV. The unit is UL-listed in file number E347672.

> 3 dayI used this mount for an 85” Sony TV weighing 110 pounds. Mounting the wall bracket was the hardest part and it was fairly easy using a stud finder to make sure it was secure. I really like the spring loaded clips on the bottom of the tv brackets. The top part of the tv brackets are hung on the top of the wall mount. The bottom of the tv brackets clip onto the bottom of the wall mount. One issue was that even though a variety of bolts were provided to mount the brackets to the TV, I still had to go to the hardware store for longer bolts. Still the best mount I’ve used for my last three TV’s.

> 3 dayThe most difficult part of installing the tv mount was finding the stud to anchor it. The features of leveling it after the tv was mounted worked great.

Greater than one weekI bought a new house with a recessed wooden niche area for a tv above the fireplace. When I evaluated the mount left by the previous owner, I came to realize that there were not actually full sized studs behind the wooden trim. The mount left for me came out of the wall pretty far, so I figured that may be a liability and could cause my tv to fall. When I found this Sanus mount, I felt confident that it could do the job with a combination of lag and molly bolts to keep the TV attached to the wood. And since the TV now cant be moved very far from the wall, there will be less weight placed on the top bolts and less risk the TV could fall. I found the instructions to be incredibly well written. It was nice to have many options of what height to install the TV brackets on the back of the TV, so I could work within the space of the recessed TV niche and still make room for my soundbar. It was very easy to mount with two people (because of the size of my tv and the height of the niche) but I bet many people could mount this solo. The tilt feature was perfect to angle my TV down slightly for more comfortable viewing at the tall height the TV is at. I felt confident that I could have use additional soundbar brackets with this mount and it would have been able to accommodate the weight, but I ended up not needing them. Highly recommend this mount!

> 3 dayThey tell you the mounts come with these TV’s work well. Don’t trust these mounts. The mounts that come with the TV’s are 16 on center. You will need to angle your TV if it’s up around waist height the mount that comes with the TVs will not angle.

> 3 dayI bought a 85 inch Sony TV and I didnt need to swivel from right to left. I had a lot of choices to go with for mounting my tv, but I ended up going with the Sanus because it had a number of features that I knew would help for maintenance on the tv. An 85 inch tv is heavy so you really want to get it up and be done with it, but you will have to from time to time need to get behind it or maybe even remove it. I ended up having to do both and I was glad I went with this unit when that happened. First off the unit pushes up against the wall, but it can also push out and still hold the tv. Currently I am using it in a pushed out configuration due to having an small stand behind it ( its holding my equipment till I can make a floor unit from oak) The unit comes with some a nice template that you can use to put on your wall and plan your install. Finding a stud to attach to is pretty simple, especially since there is a large area of play you can work with to find and center up the tv once its installed. The quick release cords tuck up into the mount , but when you need to remove the tv from the wall, they make the task much simpler to deal with. Pros : 1. Solid Construction 2. Simple design that allows easy access to studs 3. Quick release cords are a life saver 4. Mounts close to wall, but can be pulled out for access to back. 5. Thick template guide Cons: None

> 3 dayThis was easy to install and is sturdy and allows for some adjustments after mounting. It can be extended a few inches to make easier to connect cables then push back to wall. The only issue, there was not the correct spaces for the Hisense 65” since the mounting holes are recessed and the bottom of TV back is raised.

> 3 dayTL;DR: works as a wall mount, but you need to buy your own M8-1.25x10mm screw from Amazon (or Home Depot) to be able to mount the Neo QLED TV from Samsung. I bought the SANUS VTL6-B1. The biggest issue I had with it was that it did not have screws that would fit my thin 85 Samsung QN95B. Because its thin, it needs small screws, which it does not provide. Sanus comes with a whole lot of screws, but the smallest ones are M8-1.25x16mm and M6-1.25x12mm.The TV manual (which is not available online - thanks Samsung!) says you need an M8-1.25 screw and that it goes into the TV at a depth of 5-6mm, and then Samsung lets yo compute the final length of the screw because they dont know how thick the mounting hardware is. Well, for this Sanus, it turns out that the 6mm TV depth + 2mm mounting hardware thickness + 1mm washer thickness sort of gets you to a 9-10mm long screw. Great, but good luck finding an M8-1.25x9mm screw! I called Sanus about this and the lady, after a long time on the phone and lots of back-and-forths, basically told me your options are to wait for 5 business days for the screws or go to the local hardware store. I ordered M8-1.25x10mm from Amazon and waited for a day for the screws to arrive. They fit the TV, so this story has a happy ending, but it didnt have to be this way. The Sanus website said the mount is compatible with my model. Technically thats true, but not in a way that a reasonable person would expect - its implied that there would be screws to attach to the TV. Once I attached it to the TV, and installed the wall plate, everything clicked into place. Im giving 3 stars because: 1. TVs are thin these days and it is expected that appropriate screws will be included, especially since the Sanus website says the TV is compatible with this wall mount 2. Sanuss customer support solution to mounting my flat TV was to insert a gigantic spacer that would cause the TV to rest on the edge of a long screw, not to mention that it pushes it farther away from the wall 3. its not as close to the wall as I would have liked. Theres a good 10cm or so gap between the wall and the TV. 4. The wall plate could have been a bit wider. My studs are at 16 distance from each other and that restricted my options for installing the wall plate in the center of the wall, as well as how far I could move the TV horizontally. Pros: * Sturdy * Once mounted its good * Online site to compute measurements based on your TV * Human available on the phone to answer questions * Easy to install (all things considered) Cons: * Does not come with screws that fit thin TVs, particularly the Samsung QN95B. * Customer service suggested hacks instead of a real solution, did not offer to cover any costs associated with acquiring missing screws * It just seems like a wall mount for older TVs, based on the gigantic screws that are provided

> 3 dayThis is one of the best wall mounts I have installed. It’s extremely sturdy & easy installation with detailed instructions for any novice. I have already purchased three & used for 65 and 75 inch TVs weighting 85 pounds. Maximum weight capacity is 150 pounds.
