Love love love this grip / controller! I use my Switch 99% of the time for portable handheld use and this is just light years more comfortable than using the Switch by itself. It also comes with little grippy covers you put on the control sticks that make them larger, grippier and easier to use. Super easy to install, just put the Switch in it, dont even really have to push hard. Easy to take off and put back on with no concerns of damaging anything (unlike my stupid cell phone case). Also the material is a little grippy, not just hard plastic, so you can put it on a smooth surface like a table or counter without it sliding all over the place. Doesnt obscure the charging port either. Love it!

Overall, it does the job of giving you something to grip onto for the switch. Light weight and feels good in my hands. However, I regret my choice a bit. The caps that go onto the joysticks are too big and actually make the sticks not work properly. The grip is easy to take off, but hard(ish) to put on. Which since you have to take it off and put it on multiple times a day (if you use your doc as a charger) that’s kind of a bummer. It doesn’t actually work as a stand. It does in a sense that the switch can stand up in it, however it stands so straight that the switch is unusable in that position. So then you have to, once again, take off the case to use the kickstand. Overall the product is fine! But worth $30? No. I’d rather get a grip that allows me to doc it, or actually has a kickstand attached, or holds some of my games or something. I had high expectations and this didn’t meet them. However in terms of the bare minimum, this product works well.

Its light, durable, unobtrusive, holds the Switch securely, and relatively comfortable to hold. I say relatively comfortable because I do still experience slight wrist pain after a long while, but I think thats just an inherent problem with holding handheld consoles, so I cant really blame this grip. Its definitely a lot more comfortable than holding a grip-less Switch.

As a guy with baseball gloves for hands this grip is a total game changer. Your hands don’t get numb or tired in long game sessions. I actually enjoy playing the switch in handheld mode more then tv mode sometimes (great for Zelda BOTW and Mario, tv mode is better for smash bros in my opinion). Anyway the grip is great and I will definitely recommend this to my Switch friends.

I payed 45+ 6 for shipping and the one I got was used. Very disappointed, it had scuffs and scratches on it and was missing the extra joy grin buttons because the person who returned this original item kept them in usuming. I Will be returning this and getting myself a SKULLnCo. Grip case instead for half the price.

The grip is comfortable, but the thumb sticks are unusable. They limit the range of motion by a ton. I also have a skin on my joycons and the silicon on the inside of the grip leave indents.

Get for portability. Though it seems to loosen the handles to switch the longer it stays on.

I haven’t tried any other grips but this one had a lot of raving reviews all over the internet. I decided to get this one for my boyfriends switch and now I am playing on it a lot and I love how easy it is to hold and is super comfortable playing for hours.

Love the fit and extra grip it gives me on the system, I wont play handheld now without it.

This is an essential Switch purchase. Its the first grip that Ive bought, and I have no inclination to get another. Its absolutely perfect. It feels like the Pro Controller but with smaller buttons and a grippy back. If you have a Switch that youre going to play handheld, get this. It also came with some analog stick covers. So far I like them, so Ill be keeping them on one small issue is that theyre big so the right one end up making the stick even closer to the face buttons. Even if you dont want the analog covers, this grip is essential. Edit: I see that these have nearly doubled in price since I bought mine. I don’t think they’re worth their current price to be honest. I bought mine at $23.99 and felt good about it. $40 for a mass produced hunk of molded plastic is kind of steep.
