The joycons are awful and hurt my delicate lady hands trying to use. This is just super amazing and just about fixes that. The joystick caps arent great but theyre really just a bonus. Edit: The older version of this was a 5 star product. Only problem was that it scratches the back of the system a little bit, superficial at most. I just got the new 2019 version and its made of much cheaper plastic and the seams dont line up so its scraping up my hands. It used to have more of a rubber plastic on the back part of the grip, now its just regular plastic all over. The system doesnt slide straight into it as easily as before either due to the rubber bits on the inside. I ordered a replacement and the new one suffers from the same seam misalignment problems. It actually moves and becomes worse when pressure is applied. I might just return this and see if I can get an old model off ebay... I can deal with the minor scuffing...

I still dont understand why people say its a must-have for the switch, its comfortable, but I think its a bit heavy. The Thump grips in the package are disappointing.

I use it all the time when I play on handheld mod for its comfort and portability. Love the design and now I use it all the time.

I play my switch in handheld mode about 50%-75% of the time. This grip completely changed the feel and how I support the weight of the system. My hands/fingers feel free to manipulate the controls without simultaneously needing to support the device. It took a little getting use to at first, particularly for platformers (at least for me), but I cant imagine not having it. Its easy to pop the switch in and out to dock it. I havent noticed any marks or wear on the joycons from sliding the system in and out. I do so with a little care and havent had any issues. For real, I love this grip. If you think you might like it, youre probably right.

Its probably the best accessory I have for my switch. It makes it way more comfortable to use.

Couldn’t recommend this product any more. Regardless of hand size, we all know the switch isn’t comfortable. This product is hands down a game changer and a must for any switch owner.
