> 3 dayI did not buy this monitor for a computer but would make a fine one. I bought it because I wanted a small tv to place in front of my exercise bike. I have several old streaming devices laying in a box so I dug up an old Onn streaming box and hooked it up through the HDMI port. I got a pleasant surprise when I unboxed the unit and saw that it has analog audio output. I hooked up a decent set of speakers to it and had a very cheap streaming tv. Of course no tuner but over the air tv in our area is crap anyway. Of course only time will tell how it does in the long run but so far so good.

> 3 dayThe image quality is very good. As said those cables are not included, which adds to the total price of the monitor. Other than that it looks good. Lets see how long it lasts but I know its a cheap one so my expectations are low.

Greater than one weekFor what I paid, the monitor will suffice. My expectations were mediocre and they were met. I wanted a screen to be used only for an output from my laptop via HDMI. Just any basic screen at a low cost that could do at least 1600x900. I was very happy to find an HDMI cable included. So many monitors do not include this, I ordered a cable from Amazon assuming this would be no different. Bonus point for not cutting this corner. My one complaint is that the viewing angle is very narrow. With only the slightest bit of angle, the screen becomes very yellowish. I thought at first that I needed to adjust color temperature or something, but figured out its because I wasnt looking at the screen at dead even 90 degree angle. Not a big deal for what I wanted, but if had to do over Id spend more and get the wide viewing angle version of this monitor.

> 3 dayIve had this monitor for over 4 years and its still running strong no issues. Its worked so well for me that when i bought my new 1440p main monitor, i went with sceptre again. Now, I wouldnt use this for a primary monitor as its not even 1080p, but for a secondary monitor for things like discord, spotify, podcasts, movies, etc. Its good enough.

10-04-2025Havent had any of the issues ive seen in other reviews, dont assume they dont exist though, i may have gotten lucky. Monitor is great honestly. Decent picture quality, speakers are pretty decent. I saw some reviews claim this wwould be terrible for gaming and i dont know what those people are talking about. Again, quality is fine, and its not like theres a ton of latency or anything. ive been playing devil may cry and bayonetta on this the last few days and havent noticed a single issue. Another review pointed out that the viewing angles arent great, but in my experience, theres no reasonable angle you would be looking at this that it wouldnt look fine. i dont know who is viewing any monitor from such extreme angles that anything beyond what this provides is needed. Maybe there are some extreme cases im not aware of, but if you are an extreme case, you probably knoww that and know this isnt for you. For a tight budget all around monitor to be used for gaming or a second screen, its great.

> 3 dayI picked this up a second monitor to use with my security cameras. Super easy to set up, just plug and play after you attach the base to the monitor. Tilt lets you angle the screen to wherever you need it and the picture is bright, crisp and great for my purposes. I’m not a gamer but I do use this for work all day and I don’t have a single complaint after a couple of months. Excellent affordable option for a second or primary monitor.

> 3 dayI want to clarify that the product is fantastic and is one of the best products for the price. However upon my second purchase I found out that the monitor did not have an audio out port for speakers. But the first purchase I made did come with one. I am not sure if I should contact the manufacturer but I just want you all to be aware of this upon making your purchase.

> 3 dayUse this in my home office because I am spoiled with 2 monitors at work! Bought an HDMI cable and glad I did because it came with a different cable. It’s a plug and go! KEEP THE BOX though. It says on the box that for any returns, must be in original packaging! I’ve had it for about 3 months now and works great, but in case no one sees that!
