> 3 dayI got this monitor becuase at college ive become a laptop user, and thought a larger 27-inch monitor could be helpful for gaming. While I think that might still be the case, this is not the monitor to do it on. While it kinda feels smooth, its not a crisp smoothness, rather each frame melts into the next one. If you need to make any fast movements (flicks) then it will become blurry beyond comprehension. Picture quality is okay, port selection is fine, and the stand is solid, but a beefy power brick makes it cumbersome to setup in smaller locations (college dorm). If youre a competitive gamer, Id advise you to buy a clearer monitor at 120-144hrz which you could find around the same price, or save up a little extra for a monitor that will last you longer and actually help you achieve your potential, because this monitor is unfortunately, not it.

> 3 dayBought this on sale during Prime Day (July 2022) and boy, I was so happy! This is the largest monitor I have and I cant go back to my smaller ones! Personally not a fan of the rgb ambience lighting, but everything else has been pretty great! I have a single dead pixel that showed up a few days ago (Dec 30 2022), but everything else has been fine quality wise. Only huge con was the mounting system, as Sceptre has an insanely weird method when it comes to the mounting plate. They dont even supply you with enough screws/materials for you to install the mounting plate, so I ended up just using the default stand.

> 3 dayTesting this monitor compared to my ASUS 60hz and it seems like the quality is just a lot better on the older Asus than this one. This monitor is lightweight and decent, but not sure it has the best quality. I guess ya get what ya pay for and this was cheap.

> 3 dayAfter a month of using this monitor: its not good. It suffers from heavy ghosting and a response time that is above 1ms. *Which was not advertised, but it should be standard. If you try to fix the ghosting, the panel becomes unreadable due to how much the brightness gets lowered with the anti-ghosting feature that doesnt work. I dont know why it has the RGB on the back. Its a pointless feature that drives up costs that could be used on a better panel. Pros: Good price for 240hz Bezel-less Lots of input options Cons: Not 1ms Ghosting beyond belief Anti-ghosting feature does little to nothing Extremely dim I really wish I could get my money back.

> 3 dayThis may be a great gaming monitor, but the back mount design SUCKS! non-standard, instead of a 75x75 or 200x200mm pattern, its some goofy design that is a p.o.s. As such, youd better get two, so both are aligned side by side. I didnt get two and now this p.o.s. is over 2 lower than the right hand one, which is another model Sceptre, btw. Yes, I deducted 3 stars because of this worthless mount, which included a hole in this sunken mount and made it easy to drop one of the standoff fittings i had to use to adapt from the c.f. of a design, to a normal world vesa mount. Youre better off spending more money for a better quality monitor that mounts to your existing monitor arms. If youre going with the desktop placement, it may be different...whatever. Im VERY DISSATISFIED with this purchase.
