> 3 dayWe are able to loop the under side of the RV frame and pass the link through the wheel (spokes) and lock with a heavy duty large lock.. The Chain is heavy and very thick so it may not work for all RVs but it was an inexpensive way to wheel lock our RV since we already had a heavy duty shielded pad lock.

> 3 dayVery solid (and heavy) chain. Will be very difficult to cut. We combined is with the Kryptonite Evolution Series 4 Bicycle Disc Bike Lock. Great combination!

> 3 dayThis is really a good security chain. Cant see anyone getting through this easily. It is, however, quite heavy. This really doesnt make it very portable. I use it to secure the bikes to the rack on my truck for overnight stops. Cant imagine carrying this with me on a ride anywhere.

Greater than one weekI bought this to lock up my and my wifes e-bikes when they are attached to our bike carrier. Its long enough for my situation and it certainly looks beefy; I hope Ill never find out if it stands up to a bolt cutter attack. I also got this lock, because of its molybdenum shackle: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001V5IYWE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. It BARELY fits with the chain, which is actually good since that leaves minimal room for a bolt cutter to attack. (It fits pretty easily through the loop, and just barely through two links.)

> 3 dayLets be real... nothing will stop a thief who wants your stuff bad enough, and as good as this chain is you are going to need a good lock too. Not much to say about it other than it is a thick, well made chain. Only real downside is the weight, but the mass is part of the reason you want a chain like this.

Greater than one weekThis is a review for the Schlage 999461 chain with cinch ring. This is a very nice heavy duty chain that can be used to secure bikes to a car bike rack. The internal chain link opening is 19.8mm (0.779 inches). The heavy duty chain arrived with a nice nylon sleeve on about half the chain, leaving 6 links exposed. To protect my bikes, I stretched a part of a Mountain Bike inner tube 26 x 2.1-2.5 over the exposed links, adding a zip tie on the end to prevent it from slipping. At the last link, I cut a hole in the inner tube to allow my Onguard Brute U-lock to pass through. Now, I can securely lock my bikes to my car bike rack in a higher crime area.

Greater than one weekNow this is a Chain! I guess someone could maybe get trough this thing but it aint worth the time or energy, or the plasma cutter it would take. This thing is incredibly strong! Couple this with a forged lock and feel pretty darn good that your bike/Cycle will be there when you return. Schlage continues to live up to its name with this product. Threw this into my backpack and my wife uses it for resistance training lol. Yeah its that heavy duty.

> 3 dayThis chain is very beefy and is too heavy to carry on your person. It is best stored wrapped around the bike frame. Only a very determined and well equipped bike thief that happens to be carrying a blow torch might be able to cut this chain. The chain cover that it comes with is a little short in length and exposes some of the chain links. A used bike inner tube fits perfectly to cover the exposed links and prevents damage to the frame.

> 3 dayAfter researching bicycle locks, chain reviews and bike theft videos, being on my 4th bike, living in NYC. Im happy to own this chain now. Its not too heavy, its what is needed to prevent it from being able to get clipped. Plus I got some exercise being able to do some bicep curls after unwrapping it. Along with the chain I got the Kryptonite Evolution Series 4 Bicycle Disc Bike Lock and feel my bicycles safe. Of course its important also where exactly and how to lock the bike. Theres still the seat and front wheel to consider. Perhaps another U-lock for the front-wheel.

> 3 dayVery strong chain for all but the most insecure settings or expensive bicycles. Beyond this, you want to spend at least 3x the price to get much more. This is definitely a good $60 chain, balancing decent thickness with marvelous length and convenience that allows you to lock any large bicycle to even a telephone pole.
