> 3 dayWorked perfectly!! We bought levers like this 12 years ago for all our doors and now in selling the house we realized we should put a lock on one of our closets. [a tiny Allen wrench will open these] I was so happy to find them on Amazon for such a great price and then to receive the item and find it was just as good of quality as the handles we purchased 12 years ago was a bonus. I may purchase a couple more.

> 3 dayreplaced 22 handle sets. easy to install. solid construction. simple to switch handle orientation if needed. compared kwikset tustin model which is similar, but the schlage is slightly more substantial.

Greater than one weekI updated the knobs in my house to these Schlage levers and love them. They were very easy to install and switching the handle from up to down was very easy. The dummy knobs screws were opposite of what the previous knobs screws were, so I had to mark the center with a level, mark the screw holes, and drill new ones. Not too difficult, but a little more work than the regular privacy and passage knobs. My mom liked these so much, she had me order them for her house. Easy and relatively cheap upgrade.

> 3 dayThe install says one tool installation, if you are using it as an interior lever you need a hammer to pound the latch in. But who does not have a hammer in their house these days? My former house had the similar style installed and they worked very nicely for the 6+ years we were there. We liked them so much that as we remodel and update our existing house we are installing these. Total time to install is 15 minutes for the first time but subsequent installs will take no more than 5. The first one I installed is very nice and smooth, the second has a slight catch on it but a small adjustment should take care of it. If you need to reverse the handle it is very easy by using the enclosed pin (used to unlock the door) and push it in a small hole in at the base of the handle and pull it off. Reverse and push on--30 seconds. Gave it a 4 for the time being given the little use this particular model and the one that feels notchy. Update: while installing on other doors I noted this was happening to them too. Turns out that a small adjustment of lifting the handles to sit a little higher in the door hole solved this issue on all handles; all handles move smoothly and the latch no longer catches as it is released.
