Schlage Flexible 3/8 Steel Looped Security Cable

Beefier than I thought. As stated above, certainly not a deterrent to a serious thief (but what is these days) but certainly will make anything it is attached to much less attractive to the smash and grab common criminal. Good buy.

This is a good cable with enough flex to reach and thread through some restricted space (e.g. handles from by BBQ and tool chest) and secure many items together. The plastic coating is also good at preventing damage and scratches; however, the blue sleeves that cover the ends of the loops tend to slip away and exposed the metal clamps. I bought it as a companion to the Schlage 994862 Flexible Cable with All Weather Padlock, 15-Foot by .375-Inch Cable with 40mm Padlock so I could secure all my items on my hitch cargo carrier and they all do the job well.

This is just OK. The blue collars over the steel crimps can slide off, which is kind of crappy. The diameter of the crimp plus the plastic cover is also quite large, making it impossible to get this cable through what I want to lock up. Not really a quality issue, but something to think about if youre buying this.

Great product. Nice heavy cable. I use this to lock my quads up and feel that they are secure when out of sight.

I live in a high rise and purchased this cable to secure my balcony furniture. I have it woven through the furniture and locked to the balcony, and I am confident that even in a strong wind, my furniture isnt going anywhere!

I keep my trailer locked up with this, no issues so far

Works very well and is long enough to accommodate a lot of equipment. It will definitely keep someone from walking off with your stuff if they dont have a cutting tool. Good value as it was the cheapest I could find in any store.
