always made my own shower pan, this is worth the time it saves and gets a perfect slope to drain

Had to use this to center on my drain un concrete floor. It works much easier on a plywood floor where you can get to it from underneath. If you center your drain up it works awesome just like all the kerdi products. Watch the install videos on youtube.

So much faster and better than doing a concrete pan.

I used this in order to reduce the dead load on our already weak floors. Placed on top of a doubled sub floor and used mud deck to contour it with the rest of the wet area

This is the best way to go when installing your showers You don’t have to mess with all that other stuff
