Schluter Kerdi Board 12x20 Shower Niche (1)

I think these have become too expensive for what they are but Im already committed with my present project. I will search alternatives, or probably construct one out of kerdi board next time Im involved in a bath remodel.

If contractor didnt complain, I cant either. Originally bought it at home depot for $135, so it was amazing to see it for $80 on amazon. Worked great and really nice to be able to adjust the center shelf height.

So it works no issues. The price is ridiculous

My installer loved this product.

This was easy to install, and is quality. You can fit 3 large bottles across. We installed the shelf lower to allow for taller bottles, and razors and soap to go below.

Promply delivered worked perfectly.

Looks nice but you have to buy small bottles to fit on the shelf.

The great thing about this niche is it installs flush with the cement board. The plastic ones go out top of the board and protrude about 1/8” of an inch, meaning there’s going to be a notable slant when you tile it.

Was fairly easy to install, and easy to adhere into position. Once you add tile this thing is rock solid!

If you are not a professional, dont try to build a niche for the bath, etc yourself. Even professionals prefer these. Waterproof and built to exact standards so just pick placement, insert and anchor. Easy, Peasy!!!!!
