Schluter KERDI-BOARD-SN: Shower Niche 12x6

Too small for anything but to say u has it there personal opinion.

Mortar sticks to it well. I also purchased a plastic one from another company, the mortar did not stick well. Worth the few extra dollars for a KERDI

So glad we did this in our newly remodeled spare bathroom.

Easier and looks better than making the shelf by hand. You can use these even if you dont use the entire schluter system.

Worked great -as an FYI doesnt hold a lot, although it is 6 inches high, once you add tile it cuts down the height. Perfect for bar of soap or razor though.

We bought a few of these for a shower we are working on. They fit great and are a good size. Really happy with them so far.

Schluter kerdi is rated very high, some installers say its time consuming, I found that when properly installed it creates a barrier that water/moisture cannot penetrate, and with that being said, isnt that what we are trying to do? Built a walk in no door shower, and couldnt be happier.

I purchased this at a reduced cost because it said used liked new and that only the box would be damaged. The shelf itself has damage in two spots. One is much worse than the other. Need it for installation before another would arrive so hoping we can make do and it will not be waterproof compromised. Description should be better.
