Schluter KERDI-BOARD-SN: Shower Niche 12x6

Well made product-easy to install. Since this purchase I have purchased several of their other products. They are pricey, but what is the cost of a leaking shower?

Mortar sticks to it well. I also purchased a plastic one from another company, the mortar did not stick well. Worth the few extra dollars for a KERDI

At first glance, these Kerdi inserts seem a bit expensive. However, they save time over having to custom build out wall inserts, are perfectly designed, and easy to install; as a result, I always use them. If youre on the fence about purchasing, dont be - just buy it.

Very nice. We have it installed and ready to tile. This is for the soap and smaller stuff. We think it will be great.

I purchased this at a reduced cost because it said used liked new and that only the box would be damaged. The shelf itself has damage in two spots. One is much worse than the other. Need it for installation before another would arrive so hoping we can make do and it will not be waterproof compromised. Description should be better.

Good so far, lower nitch of two for tub use, 12x20 for shower use.

The Schluter shower niche was very light and weight and easy to incorporate into my shower renovation which features all Schluter products. The final installation exceeded my expectations. Although they may cost a bit more, Schluter makes high performance products which are worth the price.

Schluter kerdi is rated very high, some installers say its time consuming, I found that when properly installed it creates a barrier that water/moisture cannot penetrate, and with that being said, isnt that what we are trying to do? Built a walk in no door shower, and couldnt be happier.

Cant wait to use it!
