Schmincke - HORADAM® AQUARELL - finest artists watercolours, glaze orange - 15 ml

Im not an artist by any means but I do love buying and using artists watercolors. I once used student grade water colors and I actually didnt enjoy painting as much as the difference was too noticeable for me to keep buying them. My absolute favorite are Schmink, W&N, Daniel Smith and more recently purchased Mission gold water colors from Amazon and am so impressed by them. I have favorite colors within each different brand and am so happy that Schminke finally started to sell Opera rose pink which they never did which is my favorite color of all time. You wont be disappointed. They are expensive Inlike to buy the colors I love and put them into a pan and let them set overnight.

This is an absolutely beautiful color, and its easy to work with.

Schmincke Farben sind durch die Bank die besten Farben für mich. Tolle Pigmentierung, super Ablösbarkeit etc. Echt topp.

This is a gorgeous turquoise blue watercolor. Its the one Jean Haines recommends in her watercolor books.

I am a loyal Amazon customer but buyer must use due diligence and price shop. This 5ML tube is same price as 15ML tube from other suppliers at the time of this review. Check around on prices.

This color is fantastic and adds so much to a painting. A very nice addition to my palette ... A good orange is hard-to-find. This one does the trick.

Usually buy Winsor & Newton artists watercolours, but they dont stock this colour. Unused as yet, but Schmincke have good reputation.

This product is excellent. Great luminosity of colour and flows beautifully. I highly recommend it.

Wow, $14/$15? for 5ml? Well I wanted to see what the fuss is about and I dont own this pigment so I purchased it to try the Schmincke brand and attain this pigment. The color is beautiful, the paint is no where near the pigment load of M. Graham, Mijello or Daniel Smith. I own many brands of watercolor and I will not be purchasing any more of this brand due to the high cost, and mediocre pigment load. Wish I could figure out how to add multiple photos to my review!
