For a professional type of move without the professional dispensers, this is a great product. I have packed hundreds of boxes using this tape. I originally bought the 6 pack (which has much less tape per roll) but found I needed a lot more tape. This tape is very strong and holds fairly well. There are times I’d tape the side of the box and it would flap up, because I didn’t put enough pressure on it initially. Nothing an additional pat down didn’t fix.

My husband and I have moved 5 times in the last 3.5 years, including two cross-country moves. Needless to say, weve packed a LOT of boxes. I never would have thought I could love a type of tape so much, but this one is worth raving about!

opened it and it smells like burnt curry or something funky! truly disappointed as i have to be smelling this for the rest of the roll (its been weeks and the smell hasnt gone away) i used this tape before so not sure why this batch smelled weird.

This tape is thick and heavy and does not give off a noticeable odor like some acrylic tapes. I used this tape for two different purposes, for packing brown moving boxes and for fixing books with ripped pages and bindings.

My tape had a hard time staying put on my boxes. Many of my moving boxes had the tape come off mid trip. I dont know what it was about those particular boxes. The others stayed pretty well, but a few just untapped themselves and we had to pick up scattered items. It was a pain, but at least it was not all of them.

Great tape but not a lot is on the roll. Youll end up having to buy refills that dont quite fit so next time Ill buy a pack that has a bit larger rolls. We used this more a cross state moving trip and the tape held up fine in high humidity and heavy boxes. Would recommend if you have small projects but I wouldnt buy again if I needed bulk for a large amount of boxes. Name brand seems to be better than the off brand though.

I have learned my lesson buying cheap, ultra thin, knockoff tape brands. Never again. This 3M heavy tape is the best way to go if you dont do continuous package wrapping (where the extra cost can be a real concern). I use this stuff for personal packages (like Amazon returns!). :) Anyway, it always spools-out reliably and wont break accidentally the way the thin knock-offs do. I have also found that the cheapy tapes further degrade in the summer due to 100+ temperatures where I live. The 3M tapes dont. Theyre more expensive , but these frustration-free thicker 3M tapes are worth every penny.

It seems Im always sending something out or returning something and I go thru these tape dispensers quickly, I do use lots of tape especially on the bags because they rip so easily. Ive bought the rolls without the dispenser but with my tremors its rather hard for me to get them in the dispenser, hubby has helped sometimes. Great product and with the season of giving and people shipping this is a sturdy packaging tape.

This tape held and worked well for moving. It would have been nice to have refills for the smaller packaging tape. I could only find it for the larger rolls.

I use a lot of this tape at home and at work. The rolls last me a while and I like the strength of the tape. I like buying the rolls in bulk so this is a great price.
