> 3 dayMy wife uses a lot of this tape. If you buy the cheapest stuff, it may not hold together as well, and it wont be easy to find and grab the edge once a cheap tapes raw edge glues itself back to the roll. That will happen often with either the bad or good tape, especially when you are out of time. Thats the part that aggravates me. I HATE wasting that time. Better tape, but maybe not the greatest tape of all time. After all, the GREATEST tape wouldnt HAVE a cut edge that welds itself to itself.

21-11-2024this tape does the job for me and I send lots of boxes out in the postal service which we know doesnt treat thing well unless it is insured. Tape holds and packages are in tacked.

> 3 dayScotch changed their tape, and I haven’t been able to find any that works decently. Sam’s, where I’ve bought what LOOKS like this tape for a long time, now carries something similar that doesn’t hold together to get a package ready to send off. After buying a lot of look-alikes, I finally came on Amazon and started reading reviews until I found ones that referenced decent packing tape. Yep, this is it!

> 3 dayI wish I had ordered two sets of the 8-pack of tapes. Scotch makes nice heavy, strong tape which held up really well in my move. I had to run out and buy more tape the day before my move, and U-Haul was closest. The U-Haul brand tape is more expensive, ridiculously thin and kind of floats, folds over, and sticks to itself, and its really difficult to pull up the end of the tape if it gets stuck to the roll. Then it splits down the middle as youre trying to peel the end up, and you waste a lot of tape and time getting it started again. No splitting with the Scotch tape. Next time I move Im definitely going to make sure I have more than enough Scotch heavy duty tape on hand.

Greater than one weekI was expecting this tape to be heavier duty and purchased it to replace the tape roll that had just run out. However, the tape is much thinner and the adhesion is not ideal. It comes off the runner quite quickly so much is wasted. Does not stick as well as other types Ive tried. Was hoping for a heavier-duty product.

> 3 dayI purchased this packaging tape in large quantities as I mail a lot of packages to my daughter and her family stationed in Japan. This was a good price for this tape. I prefer to use the Scotch brand Heavy Duty Shipping and Packaging Tape as I know I can count on good quality and good results from this company. The old saying You get what you pay for is definitely true when it comes to packaging tapes. I have purchased other brands in the past only to have them fail in some way. I have used Scotch tape for boxes in my storage spaces and it holds up well under the heat, humidity, cold, and condensation that storage units encounter.
