I have bought these laminating pouches before and really liked them, but this package has more than its fair share of damaged plastic pouches. It looks like somebody took a pair of scissors and carved out marks into the plastic. I would say about 20% of the pouches are damaged in this manner. The rest are perfect, but I paid for 200. Im having to inspect each pouch as I use it and turn my students work so they wont have big lines through them. When I made memory books for my students some of them just had marks or I had to throw the plastic pouch away. This has never happened before with the Scotch Thermal Laminating Pouches, I certainly hope this was a fluke and that they arent letting their standards down.

Seals well but you need to let it heat up for a couple of minutes first. I am using it for recipes and crochet patterns which I then put in binders.

These are the best quality - hands down! The price on Amazon fluctuates often however. I’ve purchased for under $14 and as high as $25. I teach primary school so laminating happens often for classroom materials and for student use. I wish the price would be set consistently.

Essential for school.

These are a nice size for paper a little larger than letter size. When you laminate regular 20 lb copy paper it really feels nice and protected, not flimsy at all. Works well. I’ve not had any problems with this sealing.
