> 3 dayWorked better than I expected. Does not really laminate thicker papers but regular white paper works well.

> 3 dayI am so happy my package arrived earlier than what was expected nice small box directions were clear into the point and I plugged it up with a few minutes and I was able to start laminating. It’s worth it purchase it. This saves me time from running to any outside stores to have any documents laminated. Now I can just do it myself.

> 3 dayWeve had this for three years, and its still working great. The only nit I have is that it occaisionally skews the laminate as it goes through, but not much. Ive only used it for about 75 3 mil. laminations, but it works great!

> 3 dayThe only thing would if these things would have a tray both sides so paper cut up small won’t move causing you a need to hold a book under it coming in. Going out if you have anything in the way it will ripple and if you leave the top part in if I didn’t come all the way out. A simple fix is putting it back through works to get that out for me.

> 3 dayI had never given any real thought to acquiring a laminator for my home office, but I ran into a situation where I really needed one. Amazon offered a few other models at somewhat lower prices, but I decided to spend the extra few dollars on the name brand Scotch. Very glad that I did. Device heats up reasonably quickly (just a few minutes time). Feeder works flawlessly. Laminations of small and large size (business card size, letter paper size) feed easily and the laminated sheets look professionally done - no gaps, bubbles, or creases. Now that I have such a device, Im finding quite a few uses for it. Very pleased with this purchase.

> 3 dayI had purchased another brand laminator in an attempt to save money, and it ended up being defective and awful and I had to send it back. I decided not to risk that brand again and went with a name I am more familiar with instead and Im glad I did. The other brand had the one advantage of being low-profile, and only about an inch tall which seemed great for storing. But what good is that if the product is otherwise junk? This Scotch laminator is not so low-profile, it reminds me of a couple inkjet printers I had a number of years back. Its slightly bigger than it looks from the picture, but its certainly not bulky or huge by any means. It has a sleek, modern look to it. Operation is extremely easy: plug in, warm up and insert your lamination sheet when the green light comes on. I noticed at least one review said it takes a long time to warm up so I thought Id time it. From the moment I turned it on to when the green ready light lit up was exactly five minutes. I personally cant imagine a scenario where this would be considered too slow, but maybe thats just me and I dont plan to do any emergency laminating. The unit has a nice quiet motor and the feed is very smooth and silent. The feed tray that attaches to the back is surprisingly helpful. It supports the lamination pouch, and since you feed it sealed-end first, it would be very easy for smaller items to slide around and lose their position while youre feeding the other end into the unit. This happened with the other brand laminator I returned and that is much less likely with this Scotch unit, because of the supporting tray and also the downward angle of the feed. The unit itself gets pretty hot. The top vents are quite hot to the touch, not scorching but I wouldnt use this around small children probably. But it doesnt get very hot under the unit, which is much better than the other brand I first tried. That one made my desk too warm and I was afraid it would ruin the desk laminate. This one did not make my desk surface very warm at all, which was much better. The finished product looked great. It came with two sample sheets of Scotch brand pouches but I was anxious to first try it with the generic pouches I had bought to go with the first laminator. I wanted to see if part of the poor quality was my cheaper pouches or if it was entirely the other unit. It was apparently just the unit, because the same generic sheets worked great with this Scotch laminator Im happy to report. Nothing displeasing; no bubbles, no waviness, no edge curling, etc. Just fast and flawless lamination. I do wish it were a little less bulky to store, mainly because I have very limited space, but its a fair enough trade for great quality. My review ended up being mainly a comparison with the first brand I was so unhappy with, but trying both of the brands within days of each other has helped me appreciate the ease and trouble free operation of this unit even more I suspect. In any case, I highly recommend this laminator and Im so glad I parted with a few extra bucks to get this after returning the other disappointing brand, which was a frustrating experience. Its silly in retrospect, this was only five dollars more for a much more reputable brand. Now Im as happy as can be.

> 3 dayWell worth the cost (which is reasonable)! It’s perfect for what I needed it for. I laminate call cards for my softball team.
