Works great for in between toilet cleanings, I just wish they had an unscented version because frankly, the scent is overpowering and smells horrible.

I used to use bleach tablets in my toilet tank, but stopped after discovering that it damages the parts inside the tank over time. These toilet bowl cleaning gels are easy to apply and last a few weeks, which means a few weeks where I dont have to clean the toilet bowl! Thats a win in my book. It looks a bit weird in the tank though. Ive had friends come over and ask what that gooey stuff in the tank was, since its not something that people normally expect to see in a toilet bowl. Its not embarrassing to me though since I just explain what it is, and it doesnt bother me enough to stop using it. The only negative is that I wish they sold cost-effective refills of the gel that minimized the amount of plastic waste. I dont like that the applicator contains so many plastic parts and is essentially disposable for such few applications.

I mainly got this product to help with the pink bacteria that forms in toilets (and showers). I use a bit of bleach (or vinegar) in a toilet I dont use much, and thought this might help with the toilets that get flushed regularly. So far it has seemed to help by slowing the growth. Pink bacteria still came in but maybe a week later. Super easy to install the gels. So A+ on that. I saw another reviewer mention the scent being overwhelming. When I installed it was just a pleasant scent. When the water gets disturbed using the toilet the scent activates a bit more and it is kind of annoying. Its more pleasant than urinal cakes, and more similar to a really cheap perfume. It still gives me the vibes of a public restroom, so Ill probably be looking for a cleaner bleach smell version if theres one out there. I want it for the bowl rather than the tank.. Id say its worth a purchase to try for yourself.

Not sure what some of the other reviewers expect (this is not a robot or a maid, youll still have to clean your toilet). I clean my toilet at least weekly, but these keep it looking nice. Personally, I like the smell and guests say my bathroom smells nice.

Its easy to use and seemed to do its job, but the scent is unpleasant. My husband says it smells like a urinal cake. (Ill take his word for it.) The scent is so strong that the whole bathroom and hallway smells, even though we keep the toilet lid closed all the time. That would be great if it was like a minty a lighter clean scent, but it just smells gross.

Could just be me but I had a hard time not getting 2 or more out at one time. They do keep the bowl clean for quite some time. The scent was best for the 1st few days and then kind of disappeared.

The best way to use this product is to deep clean your toilet and then apply the gel. The gel is very easy to apply. Just go slow with it and follow the directions and you won’t have any trouble. I have a smaller size bathroom and it made my whole bathroom smell fresh. Whenever the toilet gets flushed, the water pours over the gel and refreshes it. Great product for in between cleanings. I recommend trying it out.

Easy to use. Does not stick very well though but it does help keep it clean.
