Excellent product. Have used it for years with wonderful results.

A few weeks ago I dosed a new 800 gallon above ground pond to 4PPM ammonia with aquarium ammonium chloride powder to start a fish-less cycle. I added several rounds of nitrifying bacteria and never saw a change in ammonia levels. Nitrite and Nitrate levels at almost zero. Even with a large pressure filter, fountain filter and biofilter. I needed to home some orphaned fish from a neighbor so wanted to remove the ammonia. I filled a cup with pond water and did a test with the prime to ensure my test kit would register the change. All looked good after a few drops. I did a 50% water change on the Pond, but ammonia was still 4PPM. Then tested the well water to make sure I wasnt adding any from the source. That all looked good. I then started adding Prime per the dosage instructions. I did not see even a small change until about half the bottle was gone. It took the remainder of the bottle to get to .25PPM ammonia. Ive been using Prime for years but this version approved to be a real dud.
