I havent been able to work with it to its capacity but am still figuring it out. Theres just a lot going on right now.

No problem as far as it working, it’s a plug in and start doing whatever you need to do to get it working.

so i bought this as a used item since i wasnt going to pass up 4TB at $65 and figured since it was going to be a game drive, reliability wasnt really a concern for my use. unfortunately, it started acting up during the first hours of use. it would disconnect randomly and, worst of all, the drive would hang. it would register as being in 100% use, and it would prevent all reading and writing which stopped downloads, or actually froze the game because it could no longer load assets. so i proceeded to break open the casing and then install the drive into my pc with normal sata connection thinking the problems were caused by sata to usb adapter. turns out the drive itself (and not the connector) was causing the hanging issues. however, its been about two months and it seems it only did it for a week or two and now seems to run just fine. but between the disconnects and the drive hanging, i can definitely see why it was a return item

Works great on my PS4 but not truly 4TB still good amount of space though.

I am using this to store my photos, I have over 5000 on it now and still have room for more!

Its very slow and it loves to go to sleep which causes applications to lockup waiting for it to wake back up. Get only 60MB/s or so. I try to keep the drive awake even by writing uptime to it every 5 minutes but still it loves to fall asleep. Id avoid and get a different drive. Loves to lock up at 100% disk use as well.

Easy to use to back up my photos and files from my old computer thats breaking down. Saved quickly and I added them safely to my new computer.

Works well and has plenty of backup capacity. I have two of them and keep one of them offsite, alternating my backups between the two external hard drives. They are compatible with my M1 MacBook Air computer.
