Seagate BarraCuda 1TB Internal Hard Drive HDD – 2.5 Inch SATA 6 Gb/s 5400 RPM 128MB Cache for PC Laptop – Frustration Free Packaging (ST1000LM048)

I bought it for Dell M4600 laptop and since its a little old fashioned laptop it needs a 9mm high hard drive. I managed to put it in my laptop after using tape in caddy to raise the HDD and it worked well and showed the storage capacity as desired. I am not sure about its data transfer speed or its performance since I did not use it or installed windows on it. I am giving good rating for customer service as I had to return it and it was easy ! I wish it was available in 9mm too or could have been provided with a space adapter for my caddy to make it 9mm high.

My old PS4 Pro 1TB HDD failed on me so I replaced it with this one. It isnt fast as as a SSD or SSHD, but it is slightly faster or at least just as good compared to the original PS4 Pro HDD when it was working fine.

This drive is more like a Carp than a Barracuda. Best suited for storage not an OS in a laptop. After a year in service I thought it was time to swap out my 2tb WD blue. The seagate clone keeps me waiting much longer than expected. No xfer data software stats to show but I know this drive is slow. Going to put my WD back and consider the Seagate to be a backup. Buying another WD now just like the good old one. I cant afford a 2tb ssd at this time.

Very easy to install, storage capacity is good. Its great for gaming since thats what I mainly use it for. Would definitely recommend this to a family member or a friend.

It was super easy to install and connectors matched. It also allowed me to increase my storage another 1TB which means more games I can download from the store.

The hard drive is good, was easy to install and everything (Didnt come with a sata connector or and other parts that I thought it would but that was more user error). But when youre missing a full 69 gb of storage (A very sizeable number) its a bit of a lie to say its 1 tb.

Very easy to install into a computer or console it is literally only one cord you plug in and it works instantly. Has a lot of space perfect for saving your work or your games.

I wanted to have more storage space for one of my laptops and it was a great pick. No issues with installing the hard drive and I havent had any problems with the hard drive since I have started to use it. Overall, my score is 9/10. Great hard drive and satisfied every need that I had prior.
