This drive is just what I wanted. Its quiet, pretty fast, and holds its contents without spilling. Have not run into a single problem.

My envy 23 all in one died. Thankfully I had already moved everything important to online storage! My 16 yo son installed this easily (this was a test to see if he could do it since he wants to build a computer now). It definitely isnt fast enough for gaming but I know that has more to do with the processor. it definitely fits the bill for my needs for using my cricut and other things like spreadsheets and word docs. We were worried about loading Windows but since we had previously logged into Microsoft it knew our registration number. we were able to use a jump drive with windows downloaded to it from our laptop. it was very easy thankfully!

Ive always used Seagate hard-drives ive yet to ever experience any loss of data or any crashes with one. they are always well made.

My girlfriend smacked her laptop and whaddyah know, she killed the hard drive or it was just its time - regardless we needed a replacement. Instead of buying a whole new laptop, we checked on Amazon and found this beauty on sale. Taking apart the laptop was pretty simple (you will need a mini screw driver) and this hard drive came with its own (cheap but effective I guess). Lets get to its functionality - the speed, size and cost was beyond our expectations. Thus far its been a month and we are impressed. Very pleased and glad we didnt go with the generic brands that are a big cheaper - this one hasnt crashed so were happy with our purchase and recommend it.

I bought this for extra storage as a backup since my hard-drive on my xbox is small used it as max 5 time went to go play a game on this product and the Hard drive is dead. Its absolutely a waste of money and not worth it if you are looking for a long lasting drive. And to answer any questions it was being used external but in one of those hard-drive ad ons for your console so not beat up or anything never dropped or even moved often just died starting making a high pitch screaming nosie. And I dont like to write bad reviews but are you joking 5 uses and this hard-drive is dead. I should have payed someone to call me a idiot probably would have got more our of it then I did with this absolutely horrible hard-drive

I have a msi gf63 thin i wanted more space on my laptop so i installed this the only down side to having it is that it only has 5,400 rpm i recommend that you all buy one that has more of you are gaming so you don’t get spikes in your game other than that the HDD amazing and it runs perfectly after installing it

For gaming? Dunno, dont see why not. Easy to install? Laptop is eezy peezy (fill it full of music), phone is a pain (where it will stay until the heat death of the universe). Neither is a function of the SDC card. Whats there to say? Its 128 Gig, enough for half my music collection. Its an SDC. I tested it, its not a smaller SDC relabeled for 128G. 2 thumbs up, would buy again.

I took my Laptop on to two different places to get fixed. Both times the hard drives were replaced. To make a long store short the two that was installed STOP working after one week. I decided to go with the one from Amazon and install it myself. No issues with installation of the hardware or program. Great hard drive.

Ah yes more storage devices for more games. This is what I use it for, and yes these are the best brand you can buy unless you want something a bit faster then those would be SSDs and they are rather costly so be prepared for that.
