Games now days have more data wish i got the 4TB for my PS5 disk. Dont make the same mistake i made.

Easy to install in my ps5. Take the bottom off, 2 screws and put it back together. Turn it on and a few clicks and you are done.

My only little issue is I wish the Seagate ssd software was more robust like Samsungs magician software, but the drive itself works as expected.

Worked fine in a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon (Gen 9) fitting in the existing copper heat sink with transfer pad... right until it didnt (16 December to 21 March.) Was able to recover some data by moving it to an external enclosure (runs for about half an hour at a time before dying again.) Maybe these arent ready for laptop use yet...

Product worked at the beggining on my PS5. After roughly 5 months, the PS5 started shutting down, losing power. After turning it on again and again it kept giving me the blue light of death. Had to do a hard factory reset, and nothing happened. I removed the SSD to test it again and sure enough, the PS5 booted and worked, no problem. Seagate or Amazon DONT do refunds on this product. BEWARE. I bought a Samsung 980 Pro SSD in March and so far so good. Lets see how it goes.
