After 1.5 years, the piece of hardware broke after one failed firmware update. Yet, they will not provide any working firmware and only ask you to take it back to their hardware supports.

Este producto es muy bueno si tu meta es instalar muchos juegos a la vez, yo apostaría que hasta 35 o más juegos. Si lo usas en una PS5, puedes copiar juegos de PS5 hacia el disco duro, pero no podrás jugarlos hasta que los vuelvas a copiar al almacenamiento de la consola. Mientras tanto, los juegos de PS4 si puedes jugarlo desde el disco duro. Si lo usas desde una consola PS4 no hay problema de esto.

Just plug it in and play!

Just received my external 2tb hard drive today, and love it. Not only was it very simple to plug in via usb, it was also slightly smaller than my smart phone to easily store beside the ps4 and away from it enough to not touch, where I can leave it plugged in. Very easy to switch in between the internal and external for storing games use. Fantastic product at much lower cost and much more convenient than installing new internal hdd. I received this product no longer than a day and a half after ordering.

Worked perfect, I bought this for my PS4 Pro and it worked just as listed plug and play.

I got the product in 2017. Occasionally the product loses credibility with the PS4 and needs to be reset which is a bother. After about 9 months it broke and I got a replacement under 1 year warranty. It broke down in 2018 and I required a replacement; I never moved the product from its spot, it just died on me. In April of 2019, it broke again which triggered another warranty replacement. Finally in 2020, it broke 4 months outside the 1 year warranty. My advice would be the spend the extra 20 or so dollars on a warranty that last longer than the needed so youre not spending $100 on a replacement after a year.

Excellent item! You need one of them, if you need more space in your PS4.
