As title. I have an Xbox series X (AKA Xbox 2), I knew that when those AAA Xbox titles start hitting that the HDD that came with the console just wouldnt be enough. As it was, it was barely enough already since all the games I had from the Xb1 era (& a few before that) transferred over. I also have a 2 TB external HDD, unfortunately that simply wouldnt work for those games in my library that have the X/S label (except for Skyrim). The ability to move the data from one HDD to the card is REALLY quick. So far those games I have installed on the card have worked from it with no issues.

As the title said, its a must buy! Unless you want to suffer the consequences of getting games uninstalled and then installing another game and wait till they are playable then sure dont buy it and use the cloud service through gamepass ultimate instead. But i assure you, even on my series x with its 1TB i just had to get this. Games are getting bigger.

A must have

Easy setup and a most buy if you plan on playing some of the larger games like Flight Sim or gears 5. It’s a huge help since the Series S is the one I have. I would say it’s a buy even at $200 price point.

This is a great expanded storage solution for Xbox Series X, and a must buy in my opinion if you either have gamepass or a large game collection. The speed and performance mirrors the stock drive.

Definitely Not something I wanted to invest in but had to, if youre someone who plays lots of games and complex games this is a must no matter which console you bought youll run out of storage space eventually, as well if you hate deleting and downloading games this is good, I also bought a seagate external drive for all my games that arent optimized for Series X|S and put them on it instead of the internal or storage expansion. The storage expansion card was easy to install just plugged it in the back and followed the prompts on screen and it was done, can also go into your storage settings and change the default download location to it if you like etc
