I bought a 5 TB hard drive for $115. This is a 1 TB for $200. Microsoft/xbox/senate is making it so you are REQUIRED to buy this overpriced hard drive just to play optimized games. Internal space for x/s only allows so many games and any other brand hard drive wont let you play optimized x/s games, the game HAS to be installed on internal for it to work. This extends that internal storage. Its the ONLY hard drive that works for x/s games and it is TWICE as much as a FIVE TERABYTE.

It’s ridiculous that the largest SSD that can be utilized in the expandable slot is 1tb, especially at this price point. It does what it’s supposed to do and works well, but the cost for the size is asinine.

The price is a bit much. It’s about half the prices of buying a new Xbox or PS5. The companies deliberately put low storage on new systems so we have to buy extra memory at a high price. With that being said it’s a better deal than the 2 TB card. It does what it’s supposed to do and hold around 30 to 50 good sized games. It’s better than uninstalling and downloading over and over. Make sure to have your device turned on before you plug it in or you will likely see an error message and will appear that none of your games work. If this happens unplug memory, do a hard reset on your device and then power your device on for a minute and then plug the memory in.

it does not let you add more game recordings it don’t even let you store them on it it’s only for games that’s stupid ass hell and Xbox need to make it to where I can have as many game clips as I want now I got to buy a damn external hard drive to store these clips on another 115 bucks should have just bought that instead now I have a 200 dollar game library expander stupid af don’t buy this if you need room for game clips period it’s a waste of money
