Fantastically easy installation - literally pop off the cover protector and place firmly into expansion slot. Took about 2 minutes to open package and install - increasing my Xbox Series S from 512GB by another 1TB, so I now have all the storage I could ever want. And since it’s the official expansion slot designed tor Series X|S - you can make it your primary storage device in the settings menu and not lose any performance whatsoever, unlike hooking up a cheaper USB 3.0 hard drive. Trust me, just go with this. Worked like a charm. Beyond ecstatic about my new console, works like perfection & super easy to install in seconds.

I got my Xbox series x a while ago and I knew I would need more storage capacity in the future. The 1tb storage on the series x is good but its not going to last. So I know about the Seagate ssd and I decided to go ahead and buy it (a course on payments). This was the only way I would buy the SSD. So far it has been very useful and helped with extending the storage capacity. I have no complaints and would recommend if you have the money for it.

Easy to use

Pile of junk. The external drive became corrupted and would not allow my Xbox to boot up. Only by removing the hard drive would my Xbox work again. When I tired to reinstall the external drive while the Xbox was on, it would cause the Xbox to freeze and reset.
