I wish I read the negative reviews before buying this. I was planning to use the 1 to 2 way adapter to power 2 single-board computers with a single power supply. The computers keep rebooting when I use this cable even if I use it for only one SBC. Obviously my power supply works fine if I connect it to the computer without the adapter.

Here’s the issue, the the main cable worked it was able to handle the 10 amp load. But when it splits into the Y they cut the power in half. That’s where it couldn’t handle peak loads and the cable went up in smoke.

This adapter did not fit the Sennheiser 5.5 x 2.1 socket. It did not work as expected. Wasted money...

Item as described and works as described. Did not use for cameras but it works well.

My dislike is the fact that this 1-to-8 power splitting cable is non-functional for the overall 12volt DC current required to go through the SUPPLY wire (the short one) that feeds current to the 8 splitter wires.....they (whoever THEY are) stupidly used the same gauge wire for this short wire, which is NO WAY going to carry 8X the other longer wires for the individual cameras. It is, to my astonishment, the exact same size wire gauge as used for the individual ones. Not nearly good enough! 30 amps MAY be supplied by a power supply -- but wont safely go through that one wire. Period....end of story. I was an electrical engineer and know that all circuits must allow a safety margin....no exception.

Item had one outlet that didnt work. I generated a return ticket then realized it wasnt worth the trouble.
