This stuff is the go to for oil tan, gum trag gets kinda gooy and the leather goes almost a little spongy. Have tried many different finishing compounds. Seiwa Tokonole is by the far the best leather finishing compound I have used. It also works very well on wood, producing a very smooth and slick finish. Recommend this product.

I bought this product to fix my new leather apron. Rough side left a lot of fuzzy lint on my clothes every time I wore it. This was really easy to use and the final product turned out really good without much effort or remaining smell, no clothe staining.

I usually use gum tragacanth or saddle soap to finish edges but no longer. This stuff puts a smooth, even edge on leather with very little effort. As long as the edge is pre-dyed I dont even need to use edge paint anymore so not only does it save burnishing time but it saves that extra step. If you have been debating whether to order this, stop debating. A little goes a long way. The only regret you will have after ordering this is not ordering it sooner.
