> 3 dayI’ve been a leathercrafter for over 20 years and I’ve primarily used gum trag for burnishing edges. Not anymore. This stuff is simply fantastic! It allows you to create a polished edge with minimal effort. Just wish it was easier to get in the States without a long wait for the shipping from Asia.

> 3 dayHaven’t used any similar products but I I can say that compared to using burnishing wax this is AMAZING a drop is enough to do a 12” long edge (and it only takes 2 or three passes with a burnishing tool vs 20min with wax)

> 3 dayFirst, it should be understood that I am NOT a professional leather worker. I do leather work only as a hobby, so take this for whatever it may be worth to you. For years now, I have been struggling getting the kind of finished leather edges on my leather projects that I wanted. It seems every leather worker has their own process for slicking/burnishing leather edges. Even the pros I’ve watched on instructional leather videos don’t all agree on the best process. In fact, I have not found any two pros that agree.
