They are bright and go on when it gets dark and go off when it gets light out

I havent had the bulb in use that long therefore I cant comment on longevity. The light comes on after dusk and stays on until after dawn. Great for my yard.

I wish I knew this existed sooner. The light sensor works perfectly, we have these in 3 lights on the front of the house and they all come on at the same time when it gets dark. You just have to remember to leave the switch on! Makes me feel safer that they will come on and off even when I’m not home, it works with the sun so it’s not on an exact schedule, and you never look like you aren’t home. These have a really bright blueish light as described, it’s a little harsh for me and it does attract more bugs. May switch them out for a softer white later on.

I was worried if they would get enough sunlight since on the west side of the house under roofed porch. They are doing great so far!

These lights are great. They really brighten up my patio and porch. Especially at night.

The bulb was put in an outer wall mounted fixture, in a glass case. I was hoping to beable to see the front yard better in the camera as our neighbors are drunkards and i worry for my vehicles. Least I can see the edge of the grass now.... Off to find something brighter.

Just had to replace the traditional bulbs and thats it...

I bought these based upon others reviews. I like that the light emitted is more whitish/blue, instead of yellowish as most led bulbs are. The sensor works great! I can now leave my light switch in the on position and the lights come on when dark and off in the morning. This will be helpful for when I am away from my home and unable to turn on my lights so as not to arrive in darkness.
