> 3 dayThis is needed for your Tesla to record sentry incidents.. preformatted and ready to go, just plug it into the usb port and it will record all triggered occurrences around your car…

> 3 dayBasically, it is a 64GB thumb drive - which you can use as the drive for your Teslas sentry mode, or you can use it as a regular USB thumb drive. Up to you! The one piece metallic/plastic construction is nice and stylish.

> 3 dayThe SentryCam for Tesla 64GB USB flash drive saves you the trouble of formatting a thumb drive to exFAT and adding a directory. That only saves a few seconds, but you wont confuse this one with another drive you may have because of its unique shape. It works great. Dont wait. Also, every time you are about to leave a parking space, do a quick walk around your car and playback the video if you see a dent. I didnt notice that someone must have dropped something heavy on my passenger side front fender (maybe a TV box or something at Costco). I didnt notice it for a month or two so didnt catch the culprit. It would probably cost $1000 to really fix it right (dent, paint). Ill just buff it out a bit and live with it. Dont do what I did. Get this now and check your car every time.

> 3 dayThis works well - but make sure you actually need one first! My car was in the shop and I didnt have the opportunity to go see if I had a flash drive in it prior to purchasing this - when I got my car back I noticed it does have a factory installed one (I have a 2023 Model Y). The factory version has double the space so I will not be replacing this but Ill keep it for future use if needed.

> 3 dayGet this if you have a Tesla and don’t want to bother with the hassles of formatting and configuring a generic USB thumb drive to work with Tesla’s apps that work with it. Just plug it in and go! It’s smaller, clad in zinc alloy for ruggedness and durability – all at a price that is not even 0.05% of our car’s value (Model 3 bought in 2018). What’s not to like?

> 3 dayI bought a reasonably priced USB memory stick for my 18 Model X and it gave me nothing but problems. It would lose connectivity with the car or I would get messages the speed of the USB was too slow sometimes. I also found the viewer app when trying to review the USB data did not always work. Since switching to the SentryCam USB drive all those issues have gone away pure and simple. I just plugged it into one of the USB ports on the center console and it all just worked. Price is fairly reasonable given the performance and the design is fairly compact compared to other USB options of the same capacity.

> 3 dayI found this when looking at stuff for my Tesla. Even though it states that its designed for the Tesla sentry mode, its just a thumb drive. A nice one with ample storage, but still a thumb drive. Its fast and small enough to stay out of the way in your glove compartment.

> 3 dayI have the Tesla Y and it came with a flash drive, but I love that I have a back-up with this SentryCam stick. Super easy to use since its pre-formatted. I like that I dont have to go through Tesla to get a back-up flash drive.

> 3 dayUnpackaged and plugged right into the USB of the center console in my 2018 MX100D. Followed the directions from a video on YouTube, but I still have a bit to learn about the best ways to utilize SentryMode. Luckily, this device is so easy to use that I can focus my attention on the abilities the car has. I hope I never have to access a video for an accident or damage to my car, but glad I have this available just in case. Strangely, this USB already had a video save on it when I received it, which makes me think I received a used USB.
