Making family customized items is fun, especially when giving hem as gifts. These pillow cases offer another unique gift potential. The one thing people may not think about is the size. Most people wont be able to print an single contiguous image off their home printer (using dye sub ink of course) that will use the entire surface. Piecing it together isnt practical and ...well, you may want to think about this before you start imagining your end result. I faced that once I started my project and tried doing some fancy combinations from multiple sources to get an image worthy of the 18 x 18 surface. But that isnt the fault of the pillow case itself. The material is thinner than I expected but the zipper is hidden and ... its just fun to have customized pillows. Certainly worth a try!

These sub so well and hold the ink great!! They are easy to press and soft for use.

These pillow cases are very well made, soft to the touch and give perfect results if you know how to use sublimation products. Interestingly, someone said they dont work well... I think that may be because they were using COPYRIGHT protected images. You have to have an SVG or PNG file to make your projects with. Simply going online and taking any image to use is highly illegal and you are not getting the files needed to get great results. Of course maybe its revenge of the copyright. (laughing) Seriously though these are a nice size! One thing to keep in mind is that the best results for sublimation will be white or very light colors. Even with the light colors though it WILL affect the final outcome of what you press. It changes the colors some. For example on a gray color even a dark purple will turn out a lot lighter. You cannot sublimate on black. Also the red you would need to use only black ink. Most printers do not print the full size of 18x18 but you can print/cut multiple sheets to cover the whole thing or in sections. Some reviews say the material is thinner than expect but it really isnt for a throw pillow type cover. These are NOT pillow cases. There is a difference. They turn out great, are easy to find pillows to put inside or stuff them with whatever you like. You can print on both sides too so you can make one side a Thanksgiving Design and the other side Christmas for example.

These sublimation blank pillow covers are great. They fit an 18x18 pillow without any problems. They are 100% polyester and allow the sublimation ink to be vivid and bright. I press these at 400 degrees on light pressure using a pillow press pad. They turn out amazing and would make nice customized gifts.

I can’t wait to use these sublimation blank pillowcases. When you do the math, these cases are less than $3 each. I find this to be a great value. Remember to consider that lighter color blanks will show a brighter and more vivid sublimation. These cases are machine washable and have nice, concealed zippers. I look forward to this project, the hardest part will be deciding on my design. If I have any issues, I will be sure to update my review.

I thought I would try this pillow case because I wanted to put a photo on it for a gift. What I forgot to think about is that the color of the pillow case will show through on places where there is white in an image/photo. You can always use the sublimation paper that is made for dark fabrics, but to me that is more of an iron on, rather something where the ink bonds with the fabric of the pillowcase. If you have white on your image/photo, you should order a white pillowcase. I also failed to think about the fact that my printer doesnt print an 18x18 image. I must have been tired when I requested this item. The largest my printer will print is 8.5 x 11. Which, I initially thought was ok with the pink background,. But, again, I didnt think about the white in my photo. I didnt want my error in ordering to affect the rating for this product, so I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars because I do believe it will make a nice sublimation gift. Just not the one I had intended.
