> 3 dayWe have a cat and two German shepherds. This thing is a must have unless you enjoy vacuuming on a daily basis. I chose this over doing lots of research with just about every brand due to the fact that this has a bag less design. The description says 60 days without emptying the bin. That may be true for other people, but for me with our pets. I need to empty this thing between 1-2 weeks just with pet hair. If I had a model that required bags, I’d be paying the cost of this unit just in bags every year. This thing has already run through dog poop and urine. Which obviously should be avoided, but after some quick disassembly and cleaning it was back up in a few days going strong. Navigation is great and it cleans my whole first floor in about an hour. The only con for me is the app but there’s really nothing bad about it, it just could stand to have some more features. All in all this thing is great.

Greater than one weekHaving a boxer puppy this vacuum changed the game forever. This thing gets under most of the furniture and beds. It’s a refreshing feeling to walk around your apt with the floors being crispy clean.

> 3 dayI am shocked at how well this Shark robot works! It is better than my swiffer and vacuum. I have 2 yellow Labradors and this is great to keep the floors looking good! I wish I bought this sooner!

18-11-2024I love this Shark robot sweeper! It has room mapping , keeps 60 days worth of dirt, if there’s a problem it notifies you via your phone and tells you exactly what the issue is and how to fix it. It’s smart, if it sees an object in its way it goes around it. Has no trouble docking itself, and unloading the debris it’s collected. I haven’t used my upright sweeper since I bought this Shark Robot sweeper. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a derp clean of their carpets and other flooring!

> 3 dayLove the features in the app. You can label rooms, map out “no-go” areas. You can set it up to empty when it’s full, even if it’s in the middle of a cleaning; if the battery runs low in the middle of a cleaning, it will return to the base to charge and pick up where it left off as soon as it’s charged. Very hands off! The only down side is you can only select specific rooms if you manually start. You can’t set a schedule by room. I would love to run it every day and do certain rooms on certain days. But in the scheduler, you can’t choose certain rooms, but a time and it’s runs all of the rooms.

> 3 dayFor the price and the reviews I expected a lot more from this bot. There are almost no directions with it. It only maps one floor. So probably works great if you have only one floor. But if you have more than one floor what customer service told me is you have to turn the machine off, carry it to new floor, and start it not from the app (or it will mess up your map), but just push the clean button. Then on any other floor but the main one it is not a smart robot. It just bounces around randomly until it decides it is done cleaning and then stops and says it cant find its base. In my experience of almost a month it misses entire rooms. I would rather have a robot without the self empty base that is smart no matter where you put it and cleans the whole house. I had a Neato D85 for years before this and it did that. No app, no mapping, but who cares? What I care about is my house getting clean and this bot is not doing it. Have two more days to return, but I got it on sale and cant afford the one I really want- Roomba i7+.

> 3 dayThis is our third robovac, and the second model from Shark. The laser navigation is great because you can run it at night in a dark room. The app is better than once was. The self emptying option is great. But the vacuum itself get stuck on everything and then stops. It gets stuck on inward and outward facing corners, all types of chair legs, bookshelves, even straight sections of wall, and on edge of the straits where there is a “no go” zone set. Then you got to go find it…. Fortunately it will emit distress sound. Unfortunately, the battery will die and by the time you get home from work, it is dead in some corner somewhere. So you find it, put it on the charger and try again when it completely recharges tomorrow—when it will get stuck yet again). I can understand if a vacuum gets stuck on a rug, or a charging cable left lying in the ground, or a sock someone left under the bed, but chair legs, straight walls, wall corners that stuck out into a wide open room, that seems like it is failing a really basic task of a robot vacuum. I run it most days and roughly 60% of the time, it fails to complete its cleaning for the day because it vacuum next to a wall and somehow managed to get stuck. I rate it 2 stars. The app I’d give a 4 stars… the auto emptying I’d give 4.5 but this robot fails in the most basic sense of navigation failing leading to failure to complete clean cycles. 2 stars.

> 3 dayI chose this to replace my less smart random motion robot. I wanted something a little more organized and with good suction for my carpet. This guy (“Wall-E”) made a pretty great map his first run. I was worried because a lot of reviews said he never does a good job on their map. I followed the setup instructions and he made a full “checking the scene out” run without having to be recharged and the map is accurate. Wall-e does tend to get stuck on things and shut down which is annoying when I’m at work and can’t do anything about it until he’s fully dead. At least he shuts himself down and doesn’t hurt himself trying to get free. But it’s my fault for not picking little things up. keep his path clear and he will do a great job for you. He does a great job on my carpet and wood floors. No problems with rugs. He doesn’t like my sliding glass door trays but he can navigate them ok just gets a little hung up. The emptying mechanism is great. Loud for any night-time use but I don’t use it at night anyway. I’ve done specific rooms once and it worked for me (other reviews were negative on this feature) but I think that has to do with the map. If the map isn’t right then it won’t work. No complaints with the battery life I haven’t really timed it out but my 2800 sq ft house can be done with maybe 1-2 battery charges and it takes a few hours. I would buy this again and recommend it to my family looking for one.
