This is great for our camper, no cord to wrangle around while cleaning the camper. Works great!!

I’m currently 8.5 months pregnant and have a 2 and 4 year old who demand snacks regularly and sneak them all over the house despite my best efforts. Our classic broom, mop, and cordless handheld vacuum just stopped being a practical option for me about a month ago because I can hardly bend down anymore. We live in a 900 sq ft ranch style duplex with all hardwood flooring and an HVAC system that is way too big for our unit, so dust spews out our vents like a leafblower. The VacMop is the single best, most convenient household item I think I could have purchased right now. It is super powerful, I just have to press a different button to switch to mop mode, and I don’t have small children pulling out the cord every time I try to vacuum. The run time is about 10 minutes but that’s enough time for me to cover the whole main level. Probably not ideal if you live in a house with tons of square footage. I run it after each meal, before bedtime, and after any craft/special activity cleanup - just sticking it back on the charger after each use. I never have to empty a filter or clean out a mop dispenser - it’s all contained in the same mop pad and drops into the garbage can with the push of a button. With frequency of use, one mop pad lasts several days. We went about a week without vacuuming/mopping while waiting for more mop pads to arrive, and I had to change the mop pad once during that first cleaning session (the floors were really bad). If you’re a zero waste person, you’ll probably want to stick with a mop with a reusable pad. Another review said they used warm water and Pinesol to save money rather than use the VacMop official mop solution. The official mop solution has a very mild smell and leaves the floor feeling really nice and clean - even where there was a sticky juice spill. There’s no leftover residue or stickiness. It works really well and you can use it sparingly enough that it lasts quite a while. Overall, I can’t think of how to make this product any better. A lot of my friends have robot vacuums which isn’t great for kids and they don’t have a mop function. This is cheaper and so much faster! Total approval from this very pregnant mom!

I have a lot of tile floors in kitchen, hall-ways and bathroom, teenage granddaughters that are sure they didnt spill the crumbs on the floor and a dog that does not like his kibble so pushes it off the plate in search of meat nuggets. This vacmop is perfect for keeping the floor cleaned and shiny in between weekly moppings. It is light-weight (great for seniors), picks up dog kibble with no problem; gets those crumbs next to the kitchen counter and under the bar stools (you know what Im talking about - the ones no one ever claims responsibility for even though they were sitting there. I keep it charged and ready to go. The switches are easy to interchange. Bottom one vacuums, top one squirts cleaning fluid. If just mopping only and you dont need the vacuum, then just buy a power mop. The vacuum is powered, but the only thing the mop button does is squirt, so you still do all the arm work. The beauty of this product is that you can do both in about 5 minutes to always keep your floors looking clean and shiny. I bought the big bottle of cleaner liquid and yes it really does work and the floor drys within about 1 minute (usuallly before I can put the machine back on its hook and stick the magnetic charger on). Its like having a 5 minute floor genie that makes it fast and easy to look like Cinderella has been slaving for hours. And get this...the twin 13 year old grand-daughters are all like...its my turn, no, its mine; you got longer than me. My recommendation is buy it!. Going to try it in the bathroom tomorrow. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that I think they should have some power when mopping that would make it quicker and easier to get the mopping part done. After you spray the fluid the actual mopping is the same as a hand mop. What I love the most is that its a quick clean. 5 minutes and the floors are clean and shiny...I could probably get a job at one of those test kitchens now that I have this vacmop!

I normally love Shark Ninja products, but I wish I hadnt spent money on this cordless vacuum/mop combination. While it does vacuum small things such as crumbs and it does spray cleaning solution that can then be mopped up by the pad, it fails on so many other points that Im left disappointed. First, you cannot wet clean and vacuum at the same time. The vacuum trigger disables the spray mechanism, so if I want to use the solution, I have to vacuum the area before I clean. If Im going to make two passes, I might as well use a real vacuum, which sucks up more, and my Bissell SpinWave, which cleans better. This Shark Vacmop does not decrease the work of using two machines. For that reason, its better for touch-up than it is for thorough cleaning. I had hoped that it could save me time, but it doesnt. Second, the disposable pads hold both vacuumed debris AND the dirty, Swiffer-like pad. You cannot empty the bin without throwing away the pad, and you cannot replace the pad without throwing away the whole thing. Unless you want to start cleaning with a dirty pad, youll have to replace after every use. And if Shark stops producing the disposable pieces, Ill be stuck with a useless VacMop. Third, the VacMop does not stand up on its own. It either has to be propped up against a wall or hung. Fourth -- and another reason this is good for touch-up only, not serious cleaning -- the battery charge lasts about 15 minutes. Usually, thats plenty for me to clean my kitchen floor since only the vacuum and the spray mechanism require power, making the actual cleaning power-free. But I dont like that I can only clean one room at a time. But there is some good that comes with this Shark VacMop. The cordless design is convenient, especially if you have a way to charge it while it is stored. (I have to lay mine out on the floor to charge since it doesnt stand upright and since I dont want to mar the paint on my walls.) It works as well as a Swiffer wet mop, but with the addition of a vacuum. The included cleaning solution doesnt leave a film on my hardwood floors, and it seems to clean them pretty well. My Bissell SpinWave does a much better job at actual cleaning since this VacMop doesnt have any moving parts, but for what it is, the VacMop works well. I like that this Shark VacMop can provide a no-frills touch-up to my kitchen floors, but Im disappointed in the cost of replacing the bin/pad after every use and the need to make two passes, one to vacuum and one to mop. I had expected it to do everything in one go. Even though I ordered more pads, Im not sure how long Ill stick with this before I decide to give it away. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Overall, I really like this machine. However, the box contains limited cleaning pads and they’re pricey.

We have a conure and a cat in an apartment nearby a sandy beach, and this thing sucks it all up with ease on tile floor and polyvinyl wood. If I get the bird poop in time its fairly easy to clean but with everyday wet and sandy feet tracking across the floors, it definitely mops it with ease, too. Thought hard about spending the bucks on a Tineco 2 or 3 mop vac but I feel like this little thing does an amazing job for the price and do not regret my decision to get it instead!! There is a company that makes reusable pads for this which was the last convince I needed to buy this as the pads are wasteful and dont last all that long for the cost. The reusable pads are a godsend, and I hope Shark catches on that wasteful disposable pads are not the future, and makes their own!!

Really low life expectancy. My 2 both lasted. It longer than a year and 6 months.
