I had a bad ball valve in the crawlspace, this beats sweating the pipe in such a tight spot, plus as an added benefit I did not need to complete drain and dry the system, It has a drain and the drop ear which allowed me to hang it up.

I installed this shut off valve to bleed air in my hot water recirculation system. Nice not having install a separate fixture for that.

A little difficult the firs time using PEX. After a few tricks learnt from YouTube it became less difficult

This was my first plumbing job so I was so timid that it took me a while to install. It worked...no leaks so far. One thing to be cognizant of is that the water has to be off so that you can move the handle to the ON/OPEN position because it blocks one of the mounting screws then move the handle to the OFF/CLOSE position because it blocks the other mounting screw. Installed in crawlspace on line going to outside faucet so I could drain line for winter. Easy to install and drain line. Best to mount valve on wood to stabilize.
