Siglent Technologies SDS1202X-E 200 mhz Digital Oscilloscope 2 Channels, Grey

I am a beginner when it comes to using oscilloscopes. Most of my work with them was in lab during college. Recently, I needed a scope to measure the amplitude of a 2 channel signal and plot it in X vs. Y. This scope has the necessary function. I feel that the quality of the unit is good and it seems like this oscilloscope will last some time. If you need an oscilloscope for most basic diagnostics and such, this is the one to check out.

I bought this scope because it was 200Mhz, had storage, and especially because it can decode I2C and other serial data.

I like having each key having accessing to their own help information.

I was quite impressed with this scope. So far, Ive used it to observe waveforms, count frequency, and as a spectrum analyzer. I have yet to explore all the capabilities. If you are comfortable with menus, then this is the scope for you.

Product works great for beginners and has a lot of great features as well. Would absolutely recommend at the price point.

Design and troubleshoot home projects. The picture above shows an RS232 signal with automatic decode. It does I2c, SPI plus others. I just wish the screen was bigger, would make reading the small text easier.

lot of noise on channel 1. Channel 2 is okay. As you can see from the photos when both probes are connected together, channel 1 waveform is noisy. Switched two probes positions, the same problem, so its not an issue with probes, channel 1 is bad.
