Moisture shortens the quality and freshness. When going from room temperature to refrigerator then to outdoor temps, moisture is sure to accumulate inside the container. These small gel packs have been helpful in keeping the moisture level to a minimum. When necessary, we would place 2 gel packs in a container. Very satisfied with this purchase and will re-order more when needed.

How To Use Silica Gel Desiccant Packs for Storage Items
- Open the packaging bag and remove the silica gel packets.
- Place the silica gel packets into the food packaging bag that needs to be dried and ensure that the food packaging bag is well sealed.
- Store the sealed food packaging bags in a cool, dry place.
- Determine the number of desiccant packs needed based on the capacity of the container. Refer to the following usage comparison table for common situations:
- Clothes Storage: Use 5-10g desiccants per wardrobe;
- Shoe Storage: Use 5g desiccant per pair of shoes;
- Food Packaging: Use 2-5g desiccants per food packaging;
- Warehouse Storage: Use 100g of desiccant per cubic meter.
- Regularly replace the desiccant packs based on the humidity of the surrounding environment and the humidity of the items being dried.
- After using silica gel desiccant, please put the remaining desiccant back into the original sealed bag and seal it well. If the original sealed bag is damaged or no longer sealed, you can use other sealed bags or containers to store the remaining desiccant. Before storing, you can wipe the desiccant clean with a dry paper towel or towel to ensure its surface is dry. Keep the desiccant in a dry place, away from moisture and humidity.
