Before purchasing I asked the question do these bulbs get warm/hot after use. Several people answered no. So I purchased. For those of you who have the same question, I purchased mine for use in a Captain’s Lamp. Within 40 minutes they were almost too warm to unscrew. Just to be clear I’m not a wimp, as a matter of fact I love a very hot bath every night. But I definitely wouldn’t buy these if you want to keep them on for extended periods and not worry. If you don’t worry about it they are really neat looking bulbs.

Look and work great, really can’t judge them for longevity this early in my experience

I received the bulbs and it is what I wanted. Have not had it long enough to know whether it last a long time!

In general it is to light in color, a off white would look alot better. But I got what I ordered.
