I used this silicone sheet to repair a leaking drain pipe joint. I cut it to form a close-fitting sleeve around the joint connecting two pipe sections, and secured it with hose clamps. This high quality silicone is tough but compressible, so it can be used to seal surfaces that are not completely smooth--or even a curving surface depending on how clever you are in cutting the silicone. After clamping the sleeve there was no further leakage. This was a non-pressurized pipe; other methods might be more suitable for repairing pressurized pipes.

Easy to cut, perfect for what I needed

The rubber itself seems fine, but my piece was not 12 x 12, which is what I needed for my project. And, it was not square -- mine measured 11 3/4 x 11 7/8, with one edge not very straight. For this price, the tolerances should be better.

Easy to work with

I purchased this rubber mat to cut four corners to hold up a plant, which I inserted pot into a pot. I noticed that even though the top pot was larger, it would still slip and turn. This rubber mat is perfect to keep my potted plant in place. Plus, it is heat and water resistant. The black mat camouflages nicely against my dark blue outer pot. I am pleased.

This is a poor quality item . Describe as 12x12 I ordered 2 just in case and they are both odd shaped junk if you not going to make them square in shape with straight cut line side at least make them over sized so they can trimmed so they will be 12x12 . Straight JUNK !!!!!

Although it worked OK for my project the adhesive is not very strong, it is tricky to get the rubber to stay in one place.

I use this to cover open spots on fish tanks to prevent bubbles from getting my stand wet and also from a fish who likes to jump. Perfect for both my marine and saltwater and waterproof

Bought to be gasket for hobby paint jars that had no gaskets for the lids. Using for enamel paints. Cut and installed flat in the cap, to the edge. After a week of storage of enamel paint, when cap was removed, the rubber material bowled. Unable to reuse since it was bowled and was thinner than when installed, unable to get seal, had to cut new piece.

I wish i had checked the tkickness. It is too thin to make the washers.
