Useful for covering a camera that is looking outdoors through a glass window. The black skin prevents a reflection from screwing up the video image, The reflection is unavoidable if the white camera is not covered. A black camera would also work also but Wyze doesnt make one in this size.

Not sure why the black cameras are not on Amazon yet. The does help to camouflage the white camera if needed. It’s not really needed if you can just buy the black camera. Direct from the Wyze website for about the same price.

Easy to fit over. Completely covers my WYZE camera vs my silicone cover I got for my Blink. I do want to mention that there is a Black WYZE V2 Camera ( on WYZEs website ) you may want to opt for instead and avoid the extra step to having to buy a cover for. I had no idea but Im satisfied.

Covers go on nice and hides the white except the mounting foot. It helps it make it unseen. I use my cameras outside under cover but still needed a little bit of protection.

This product is weird, simply due to the face that you can buy a Wyze camera, on their website for $19.99, then if you want the camera to be black, you have to pay 1/2 of what you paid for the camera, simply for a rubber housing. For me, I deemed the cost worth it. I read a lot of reviews that said it fit like a glove, and a hand full more saying it was loose. It doesnt fit like a glove, but its not loose either. Once you have the cover on, you will never think about the fitment again, it is just fine. I truly dont know what else there is to say about a camera cover, its as exciting as it can be.

fit great look good only concern is my condo in Arizona where temp gets up above 100 f will this cause a overheat situation will have to see this year condo never goes above 90 but with camera in window and black skin will have to see but no problem with normal temp easy to install

it fits good and did exactly what I wanted it to do.. make my camera black so its not so noticable.. worth the money..

I was having problems with the reflection of the camera in the window interfering with the view I was trying to cover. This skin helped immensely and most if not all of the reflection is gone.

Ive got one of these on a window sill. The white from the camera body creates a reflection in the window. This black skin stops that so I get a much better picture now. If youve got the same problem, pick up one of these skins. If you havent bought a wyze cam yet, save yourself some money and buy the black version from home depot. Hopefully amazon will carry the black model soon too.
