We bought this for our new car and were very happy with it. It is machine wash and smooth.

I like the two different textures as the smother side removes wax of dust. The fluffy side is great for buffing.

These microfiber towels are almost identical to the big name brand for half the cost and do a great job for cleaning and detailing, also the borders have yet to cause any scratching issues for me when buffing off polish even when I use them on top of a clean pad with my orbital .
