Very easy to assemble, units fit two pairs of shoes per shelving unit. Reference for this is for mens size 11 shoes.

Bought both the wire chrome and metal plate options. The chrome model is lighter in weight yet very sturdy. The shelved version is a heavier metal and perfect for hiking boots and larger items. Both were very easy to put together and work great in the bottom of my closet.
