Backpack took me to Ireland for a week with all my clothes and toiletries, but not for an extra pair of shoes without the expansion. Utilizing packing cubes for organization, was easy to pack. One trick on packing (used for the return) was I packed the bag when it was fully expanded, then I zipped the expansion back down to compact the bag. Small pocket on the very front of bag was good for quick access to small papers/passport. The side sleeve pocket in the front where the zipper goes up and down I couldnt find a use for. The white color shows signs from the trip as it scuffs. Can see some of the stitching of the zipper as its expanded so not sure if the seam will fail at some point from that.

This bag is awesome. I have used it on 2 trips and it has been a game-changing personal item bag. I got the cream colored one and it has a scuff or two but is overall looking really great for being shoved under a plane seat half a dozen times. I love the compression straps on the sides. Comfy to wear on your shoulders but also has a strap on the back to go over the handle of your roller bag if you prefer. I do wish it had a small top or side zip pocket for my ID/airpods/phone. The only small exterior pocket is the one on the bottom front which is impossible to access without taking off the bad or dragging it out from under the seat infront of you. Side mesh pocket did not fit my large nalgene bottle but a regular size bottle would easily fit.

This 40L travel backpack from Sinaliy is a well built and very comfortable bag with LOTS of pockets and storage, this is an approved for flying as personal item so that is a big plus ++. you can expand the bag to get more 1.5 of room or 5L in volume, you get a designated protected space for a laptop up to 17 and lot of small pockets, you can even stow/hide the shoulder straps into a designated pocket so you can use the bag as a carry on. this is a very durable lightweight and water resistant bag, very recommended to have and for $39.99 at the time i made this review, its a bargain.

This is a must for travelers. It has several compartments for organization. It is large and can be used alone for short travel. It has two clear pouches that will be good for personal items. It has straps on the inside that will keep items in place. There is also a compartment for your computer. It is also expandable. This will be a great addition for your travel!!!

I’m looking for backpacks to take on a 3 week trip to europa with only this is carry on. The fabric is nice and feels durable and good quality. It holds a lot. Comes with different areas to organice your things. Comfortable padded straps. I like it!

This travel backpack is crazy! There are so many compartments, so much space, so many options! I am beside myself with joy! I am an avid traveler, long distance, short distance, overnight, 3 week stays, you name it. I cannot travel light, never could. I need everything I own with me, just in case. This backpack blows my mind! I almost think I could forego a checked bag, if it werent for all my liquids in a quart Ziploc - my husband calls them my potions. If I only had to be away for a few nights and could carry on all my liquids, I could easily pack a weeks worth of clothes and gear in this baby! I love this backpack because its like a soft shell suitcase under the guise of a backpack. Backpacks qualify as a personal item and since I always fly those cheap airlines that nickel and dime you for carry-ons, this is the perfect way to bring what I need for free. The backpack opens all the way around 3 sides like a suitcase would. It even has a handle like a suitcase does, but it also has backpack straps which you can use or hide away in the zippered compartment in the back. There are several different compartments on this backpack to keep things separated and it also comes with some little clear plastic travel bags for toiletries and such.
