I purchased a security camera. However the supplied 12 volt cord to the adapter was too short. This fit the bill.

I connected to trail cams after cutting off one end and installed battery connecters.

It does not supply the volts needed to keep power when you connect two devices. If you are going to use it for video surveillance, video will not show or cameras will not work on night vision.
